Capture the Memories!
You'll probably dig out the camcorder to film the gift-giving frenzy anyway, so use it to record interviews with your kids after the excitement has died down. It's a great way to document their changes from year to year. Try these questions for your annual "exclusive".
- What was your favorite thing that our family did together this year?
- Who are your best friends? What do you like the most about them?
- How is school this year? Why do you like your teacher? Which subject do you enjoy most and why?
- What do you like to daydream about?
- What is the nicest thing that a friend or someone in the family has done for you this year?

I'm a former 7th grade Science teacher turned stay-at-home mom that lives in Houston, Texas. I am married to my college sweetheart and have a beautiful daughter named Riley, who definitely keeps me on my toes! I am also involved in starting a small business which would both manufacture and sell an invention that I've patented, called Toothpaste 2 Go. I love interacting with my readers and hope to learn as much about you as you learn about me!
