This post brought to you by Boy Scouts of America. All opinions are 100% mine.
Being a Boy Scout is one of the true symbols of Americana, ranking right up there with apple pie and baseball. The Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with over 4.5 million members.
Scouting embraces the role of the family and is constantly supporting and promoting healthy activities which get the entire family involved. They are also at the forefront of teaching young men about combating childhood obesity through proper nutrition, physical fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
The Boy Scouts have even begun incorporating technology into their teachings by rolling out a brand new curriculum which emphasizes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). By helping young men develop these essential technological skills now, they can ensure their competitiveness in today's world.
Although I myself do not have a son, there's no doubt that if I did, I would thoroughly encourage him to Be A Scout. As a former Girl Scout, I can't say enough good things about the positive impact of the Boy and Girl Scouts of America organizations on our country's youth.
