Rita Hazan I don't know quite when it happened, but sometime between my incessant salon highlighting sessions, I developed MANY gray hairs.  :pull hair out:  I've always had blond hair, which is why I didn't notice these pearly beauties earlier, but now, they're so plentiful that I might not need to get blond highlights anymore!

I'm only 35 years old though and so gray hair is NOT an option!  Unfortunately, running every few weeks to the salon is not an option either for it's definitely not healthy for your hair or healthy for your budget.  That's why I was super curious to try the Rita Hazan Root Concealer.  This spray-on formula will hide those nasty roots temporarily so you'll always look your best, even between salon visits.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Root Concealer in Blonde from Rita Hazan, which retails for $24.00.

Shopping for ElectronicsIn-store purchasing of electronics is going the way of the horse and buggy.

Best Buy recently announced the closure of 50 stores and experts are speculating the inevitable demise of the big-box company, thanks to stiff competition from e-retailers like Amazon. In 2011, Amazon's revenue rose 69 percent in electronics and general merchandise sales alone, according to the Associated Press. And Circuit City accepted its fate years ago when it closed its brick-and-mortar locations and now operates exclusively online.

Convenience and better prices are the name of the online-purchasing game, but that doesn't mean there aren't pitfalls to the practice. Before you invest in your next pricey gadget, consider these dos and don'ts before clicking "purchase."

Newport NewsNewport News has been empowering women to express themselves through fashion for the last 30 years.  I can still remember pouring through the Newport News catalogs that were sent to my home as a teenager and saving up my money to purchase the latest styles.  And now, almost 20 years later, that tradition lives on.  It's one of my favorite little fashion boutiques to shop womens clothing online.

Newport News carries exclusive merchandise created by a design team in New York.  Trends are predicted up to a year in advance and inspired by worldwide influences from exhibitions and trade fairs to street fashions in Paris and London. They  take what's new, give it a flattering shape and a feminine feeling, thus making it all their own.  That includes everything from the latest looks to fashion essentials.

If you're wanting a fresh, new style for this spring or summer, then look no further than Newport-News.com.  They carry absolutely everything you need to turn heads, including shoes, swimwear, handbags and jewelry.  Of course, you also don't want to miss their end-of-season sales with fashion bargains up to 80% off and shoes and accessories being sold for a remarkable 70% off!  Find out how fun affordable fashion can be at Newport News!

Hellmann's I've been a picky eater all of my life and was especially hard to handle when I was a young child.  You know how your mother says that whatever you did as a kid will come back to get you once you become a parent?  Well, that's definitely happened to me, for Riley has followed right along in my picky eating footsteps.  Getting her to want to eat has always been a battle since day one.

Thankfully, Hellmann's has created the Chicken Change-Up event featuring celebrity Chef Tim Love.  The recipes featured will help us all take charge of our family dinners and serve quick, easy and budget-conscious dishes that the whole family will clamor over.  Keep reading to learn more and see for yourself what my finicky eater thought of the Chicken Nuggets with BBQ Sauce recipe I prepared!

Teach Children to SaveCreativity is a child’s bread and butter, so why not use that to your advantage to teach them about saving money?   To prepare for Financial Literacy Month, TD Bank has come up with 7 Fun Ways to Teach Children to Save.  These clever tips are ideal for teaching your child how to make smart money decisions.

1.  It’s All in the Visuals

Children tend to be visual learners. Hang up a savings goal chart, like an empty thermometer or table, that they can fill in as they reach their goal. For older children, have them create a ‘Wish List’ of items they want with the cost included. These visual reminders will help encourage them to save their money instead of spending it immediately.

2.  Field Trip

Every child loves a good field trip. Tell them you are going to take them on a field trip to the bank and watch their eyes light up. Many banks, including TD Bank, offer a joint savings account option that the parent and child can open together. Let them come with you when you open this so they can be involved in every aspect of their money management. Have them deposit money with you on a regular basis, particularly when they receive money for birthdays or holidays.

As a treat for filling up their coin jars visit the Penny Arcade at your local TD Bank and let them cash in their coins for deposit into their savings account.  The interactive coin counting machine even offers the chance to win a prize!

-          Visit the Store Locator to find the nearest Penny Arcade.

Return Policies Holiday e-shopping has begun, and with it the potential for gift returns. Because online merchants have different policies, it pays to read the fine print before you buy.

Some stores only give 30-days leeway, which means recipients can't return purchases after Christmas. Happily, some merchants are changing these deadlines for the holidays but, because there are websites who truly believe "fineprint" means "itsy bitsy print in a very pale pastel," FreeShipping.org compiled a list of major e-retailers and their return policies for 2011.
