TheraGearSince having a child, it seems that my workout days at the gym have quickly come to an end.  I want to try and remain as healthy as possible so that I can keep up with my little girl and be around for her and my husband for a very long time.  If I can't go to the gym on a regular basis anymore, then I need to bring the gym to me!

This means that I have a whole library of workout videos and various gym equipment at home, such as dumbbells, resistance bands, a balance ball, etc.  I had never heard of body toning bars before, but once I saw them on TheraGear.com, I just knew that this would be a new and unique way to increase my strength, flexibility and conditioning.  Keep reading to find out whether or not the body toning bar I tried worked well for me!

I reviewed the Body Toning Bar (12 lbs.) from TheraGear, which retails for $44.98.

Riiflex for WiiIf you have a Wii, maybe you're like me and bought it for the main purpose of working out.  I thought that the Wii was so cool and unique and would finally get me over my habit of procrastinating when it comes to exercising.  The Wii does definitely make working out a lot more interactive than watching an exercise video at home and it can even track your progress in several different areas of fitness.

What has always been lacking though, is a way to incorporate resistance into these exercise fitness games.  I personally use the EA Sports Active game and although it does come with resistance bands, these don't seem to work very well for me.

Now, the folks at PowerPlay have come up with a solution which provides plenty of upper-body resistance while exercising or just playing games with your Wii.  It's the Riiflex 2 lb. Dumbbells which are incorporated with your existing Wii remotes!  Read on to learn more!

I reviewed the Riiflex 2 lb. Dumbbells for Wii from PowerPlay, which retails for $29.99.

Striking Skin Care Striking Defense DuoI have to admit that I'm pretty vain and when it comes to aging gracefully, I consider that a last resort.  First and foremost, I'd like to slow down the aging process to a crawl...THEN and only then, I'll age gracefully!  :)  Helix BioMedix is a company that is trying to help us drastically slow down, if not reverse, some of the fine lines and wrinkles that form in our skin and help us regain our skin's youthful appearance.

They've created the Striking Skin Care line of products which are supposed to help nurture, protect and revitalize your complexion.  I had the privilege of giving these four products a try for two weeks.  Read on to find out whether or not the Striking Skin Care line lives up to its anti-aging claims!

I reviewed the Striking Skin Care System from Helix BioMedix, which retails for $170.00, but is currently on sale for $149.95.

Melrose Kids I don't know how many times I've cringed and winced in pain while watching Riley sleep in her car seat.  Poor little thing always looks so uncomfortable, with her head flopping around and her neck bent in the most awkward of positions!  Of course, I'm driving at the time and can't come to her aid either.

Anytime she falls asleep like this, she always seems to wake up frequently and never gets a good nap.  This means that as soon as we get out of the car, she is usually fussy and cranky!  Melrose Kids Inc. noticed the same problem with sleeping children in strollers and car seats, and did something about it...they invented the Head Snuggler!  Read on to find out more!

I reviewed the Head Snuggler in Chocolate Mesh from Melrose Kids, which retails for $18.99.
