Sanomedics Riley absolutely HATES having her temperature taken.  Currently, we have one of those ear thermometers, which requires sticking a probe down into the ear canal.  She constantly squirms and cries and it is next to impossible to get an accurate reading.  I can understand though.

If you're sick and don't feel well, the last thing you want is someone holding you down trying to pry some weird device into your ear!  Sanomedics designed a talking, non-contact thermometer, so that you won't even have to touch your child in order to get a quick, accurate temperature reading.  Now this I had to see!

I reviewed the Talking Non-Contact Thermometer from Sanomedics, which retails for $34.99 with FREE SHIPPING.

Thank you to LUNA Protein for providing me a LUNA Protein sample pack to review. The opinions I've expressed here are solely my own and represent my honest viewpoint.

Clif Bar & Co.Being a mom is a round-the-clock job with no time outs, lunch hours or other scheduled breaks to take when you need a breather.  So most of the time, that means having to think quick on your feet when life (and your family) is coming at you at full speed!

Because I'm frequently running errands throughout the day, I I love finding healthy, portable snack options which keep me satisfied and full and out of the drive-thru.  Recently, I had the chance to review five varieties of LUNA Protein bars.  Keep reading to learn more about the snack designed just for us busy girls!

MaveaEveryone knows that drinking water is essential to good health.  Of course, the quality of the water we drink is extremely important, for regular tap water can contain plenty of contaminants, such as lead, parasitic organisms and chlorine, any of which can make us ill.  Because of our awareness of the dangers of tap water, bottled water is now looked at as a necessity.

Unfortunately, bottled water is a disaster for the environment and this water can also contain high levels of chemicals which have leached in from the plastic bottles themselves.  So what is a family to do?  How can we provide clean, safe drinking water for ourselves so that we don't compromise our precious health?  Mavea has invented a water filtration pitcher which is super simple to use and yet inexpensive to operate.  Keep reading to learn much more!

I reviewed the Elemaris XL Water Filtration Pitcher from Mavea, which retails for $39.99, but is currently on sale for $33.99 with FREE SHIPPING.

Himalayan Salt ShopBecause both my husband and my daughter suffer from allergies, the level of air quality in our home is something my family takes seriously.  We currently use air filtration systems in both bedrooms so that we all can sleep soundly throughout the night without awaking to a clogged head or itchy, watering eyes.

Although these systems work great, they are rather expensive to maintain.  Himalayan Salt Shop offers a much more natural and inexpensive solution to keeping your home's air clean and fresh.  They offer a myriad of natural shaped salt lamps and candle holders which are both functional and extremely beautiful.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Himalayan Salt Lamp (9-11 lb.)from Himalayan Salt Shop, which retails for $54.99 but is currently on sale for $34.99.
