Colossal Christmas Countdown:

65 Days Until Christmas!

If there's one thing I take extremely seriously, it's my daughter's health and well-being.  I want her to eat right and get plenty of exercise so she will grow up happy and healthy.  Kids have so much fun running, jumping and playing, that they usually get their daily exercise in by just having FUN!  (I wish I could say the same thing, but unfortunately, my workout videos don't exactly put a smile on my face!)

Aqua Leisure is a company that has such a wide variety of family-oriented and kid-friendly products that when they offered me the chance to review the First Fitness 18-Inch Hop Ball, I just couldn't say no.  Keep reading to find out more about this fun exercise toy.

I reviewed the First Fitness 18-Inch Hop Ball from Aqua Leisure, which retails for $13.95.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PlayStation MOVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

PlayStation MoveI'm not sure whether or not you've heard about the latest innovation from PlayStation or not, but I wanted to introduce you to their newest gaming concept...the PlayStation Move!  This is a brand new way to play your favorite PlayStation games by using a motion controller, instead of the regular game controller.  Now, you can get up off the couch and actually participate in some very entertaining video games!

I would love to have the PlayStation Move around the holidays for now when friends and family stop by, we can strike up an impromptu game night, where even the young and old can participate!

With the button-type controllers, most young children or older adults don't understand all of the complicated button combinations in order to play a regular video game successfully.  But with the new motion controllers, the use is much simpler, for you mainly just have to MOVE in order to jump into the action.

TheraGearSince having a child, it seems that my workout days at the gym have quickly come to an end.  I want to try and remain as healthy as possible so that I can keep up with my little girl and be around for her and my husband for a very long time.  If I can't go to the gym on a regular basis anymore, then I need to bring the gym to me!

This means that I have a whole library of workout videos and various gym equipment at home, such as dumbbells, resistance bands, a balance ball, etc.  I had never heard of body toning bars before, but once I saw them on TheraGear.com, I just knew that this would be a new and unique way to increase my strength, flexibility and conditioning.  Keep reading to find out whether or not the body toning bar I tried worked well for me!

I reviewed the Body Toning Bar (12 lbs.) from TheraGear, which retails for $44.98.

Riiflex for WiiIf you have a Wii, maybe you're like me and bought it for the main purpose of working out.  I thought that the Wii was so cool and unique and would finally get me over my habit of procrastinating when it comes to exercising.  The Wii does definitely make working out a lot more interactive than watching an exercise video at home and it can even track your progress in several different areas of fitness.

What has always been lacking though, is a way to incorporate resistance into these exercise fitness games.  I personally use the EA Sports Active game and although it does come with resistance bands, these don't seem to work very well for me.

Now, the folks at PowerPlay have come up with a solution which provides plenty of upper-body resistance while exercising or just playing games with your Wii.  It's the Riiflex 2 lb. Dumbbells which are incorporated with your existing Wii remotes!  Read on to learn more!

I reviewed the Riiflex 2 lb. Dumbbells for Wii from PowerPlay, which retails for $29.99.

Breeze ComfortA sports bra is one of the great inventions for ladies!  Personally, if I am not trying to showcase "the girls", I wear a sports bra every day.  It seems that most of the time I am busy chasing after Riley anyway, which I definitely consider a sport!  :)  I love sports bras because they are much more comfortable than your regular bras, but typical sports bras still have their limitations.

First, because "the girls" are pressed together and to your chest much more, you tend to sweat more while wearing one.  Also, because the straps on sports bras are usually not adjustable, sometimes they can dig into your shoulders and cause discomfort.  Finally, the band around the bottom of the sports bra has to be just perfect, which rarely happens.  If it's too tight, it will dig into the skin under your bust line.  If it's too loose, then "the girls" are not supported and when you bounce, you really bounce!

Thankfully, I had the chance to review the Diva Sports Bra from Breeze Comfort.  Keep reading to find out why they are very close to achieving super sports bra status, in my opinion!

I reviewed the Pink/Black Diva Sports Bra from Breeze Comfort, which retails for $39.99.
