Zuke's If you have a pet, then you're already well aware of just how special the bond between the both of you can be.  My dog, Noel, is the best friend a girl could have.  She's been there for the last twelve years, through several moves, getting married, having a baby and every other event, large and small, in-between.

I don't know what I'll do when I finally have to be without her and so of course, I take her health and happiness very seriously.  Zuke's offers a wide assortment of premium, all-natural dog and cat treats made right here in the USA :usa:  Keep reading to learn more about the line of treats that your pet will go crazy for!

Zuke's donates a portion of sales to The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund (dccfund.org).

Energy Efficiency TipsMost people carefully watch their time and money, making sure neither are wasted on unnecessary activities or expenses.  In an effort to be more green, why not also consider how your home's energy is used and how to prevent it, too, from being wasted?

Follow these energy-saving tips from Sally Morse, Director of Creative Services for Hunter Douglas, the leading name in custom window fashions, to conserve your home's resources and your pocketbook as well.

1.    Go Green, Literally

Saving energy in your home isn’t entirely based on adjustments made in the home but also changing what is outside of it.  To cut down on utility bills, get a green thumb and strategically update your landscaping.  A natural and beautiful addition, plant deciduous trees on the south and east sides of the house and evergreen trees and shrubs on the north and west to provide shade and act as a windbreaker.

Well-positioned landscaping can save up to 25 percent of your home's energy a typical household uses for heating and cooling according to the world-renowned Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

GreenSmart I love it when I have the opportunity to showcase a company that takes the welfare of our Earth seriously and aims to try and help our planet, instead of contributing to its many problems.  TD Innovations is an environmentally conscious company that actually donates 10% of its profits to the World Wildlife Fund and other organizations which are trying to make a difference.  They also name each and every one of their products after an endangered animal to help raise awareness.

Since today is Earth Day, I couldn't think of a better company to partner with, so please keep reading to learn more about how the GreenSmart brand from TD Innovations is turning trash into treasure!

I reviewed the GreenSmart Mandrill Deluxe Backpack in Black from TD Innovations, which retails for $74.95 but is currently on sale for $53.92 with FREE SHIPPING from Amazon.com.

Vermont SoapworksVermont Soap has expanded its collection of the nation’s first certified organic foaming hand soaps with the launch of Tea Tree Mint Foaming Hand Soap.  The new, certified organic foaming hand soap combines the legendary power of Tea Tree Oil with the fresh scent of American grown Peppermint Oil to deliver a healthier alternative to the petrochemical-based germ fighting products prevalent in the marketplace.  It is safe and non-toxic for all living things, except germs.

"With contagious bugs in the news, doctors are recommending that we wash our hands more often and thoroughly," says Larry Plesent, the founder of Vermont Soap.  "Our new Tea Tree Foaming Hand Soap features organic oils that help people fight germs without wrecking their hands and skin," adds Plesent.

It has never been easier to enjoy a luxurious and creamy soap lather.  A quick pump of the hi-tech "foamer" device aerates organic liquid castile soap into a frothy handful of foam.  The all-natural foaming process, which pumps the soap through a series of tiny screens and mixes it with air, is all-natural and does not use any propellants or chemicals.

Rubbermaid I'm proud to say that my family recycles regularly and once you get into the swing of things, you'll be amazed at just how much of your regular trash can be recycled.  There's the myriad of cardboard boxes and wrappers which are used for everything from stick butter, to yogurt, to canned sodas and milk cartons.  Next, you can keep an eye out for most plastic containers like milk jugs, squeeze bottles of jelly, mustard, mayonnaise, etc.

All of this collecting is easy to do and great for the environment, but unfortunately, my kitchen counter often looks like a trash dump until we take these small items outside to our big recycling containers.  That's why I was thrilled to learn that Rubbermaid has designed the Hidden Recycler, a recycling bin which can be stored neatly inside your kitchen cabinet door. Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Hidden Recycler Recycling Bin from Rubbermaid, which retails for $17.59.

Shaklee Corporation As a mom, I feel it's my job to do my best to keep my family safe and healthy.  Carefully reading food labels in order to eliminate harmful toxins from our diets, like trans-fats and artificial dyes, is something I've been doing for years, but I never considered reading the labels on our household cleaning products before.

So when I learned about the new Get Clean products from Shaklee, I was more than ready to take the green cleaning challenge to see what's really going on underneath my kitchen sink.  Needless to say, I was shocked at what I discovered.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Get Clean Starter Kit from Shaklee Corporation, which retails for $115.32.
