Unfortunately though, it's hard to find good bath toys which capture her imagination for long. After just a week or two, Riley often gets bored with the bath toys she has and reverts to trying to bring all new "non-bath" toys into the tub with her. That's why I was happy to learn of the WaterBlocks bath toys from Just Think Toys. They allowed Riley and I to review the 17-piece Coast Guard Set for all-new tub time adventures. Keep reading to learn more!
Sometimes the best toys are the simplest toys - toys with lots of open-ended possibilities that encourage young minds to think, to create and to explore. The best of these toys provides progressive layers of challenge for children to discover as they grow. At their very best, these toys encourage exploration and reward discovery too.
WaterBlocks from Just Think Toys bring classic block play into a fun, new, watery environment. The bathtub is the perfect place to create floating towns, bridges, towers and more. The "sticky" characteristic of water creates a helpful cling between blocks, and the movement, buoyancy and flow of water add an engaging twist to classic block play.
Riley loved playing with the Coast Guard Set for she could build towers which floated on the large included mat. Not only did we play with this set in the bathtub, but it made the perfect addition to her kiddie pool over the weekend. Thanks to WaterBlocks, Riley didn't want to leave the kiddie pool, but instead, stayed for well over an hour creating absolutely everything she could think of to build with these blocks.
The great thing about WaterBlocks is that the intermolecular forces of the water itself allows the blocks to stick to almost any flat surface, acting as a temporary glue. Riley noticed this property quickly and began building towers that defied the laws of physics. Knowing that she was building a structure which would typically be impossible made her giggle with glee and rack her brain for even more gravity-defying configurations.
WaterBlocks empower children to create as they experiment with geometry, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, balance, structure and cause/effect. If you'd like to bring a renewed sense of fun and excitement to bath time, then be sure to let the good times roll with WaterBlocks from Just Think Toys!
