I was delighted at just how stylish and secure the S1 Rumi Air Harnessed Booster Car Seat was.  The padded headrest felt so luxurious and comfortable that I know my daughter will be using this to rest her head against when she happens to fall asleep in the car.  I'm thrilled to know that it will also protect her precious noggin in the event of a truly serious car crash, thanks to the Safety 1st Air Protect technology.

The harness belts haven't gotten twisted or tangled, which is always a plus, and getting Riley in and out of this car seat is a breeze.  I'm also pleasantly surprised at how well the S1 Rumi matches the interior fabric of our family car.  It's as if it were made specifically for our vehicle!  Riley of course was in love with the cup holder and small snack/toy tray located on the armrests of this car seat.  She felt so grown up having her own little compartments with which to store things while on the road.

Installing the S1 Rumi Air Harnessed Booster Car Seat couldn't have been any simpler either.  The time it took to remove it from its box, adjust it for Riley's height and install it in our car, was only about 15 minutes.  The one feature that left me feeling a little disappointed though was the length of the safety harness itself because I'm afraid Riley won't be able to wear it for much longer.  Even though she is only two and a half and weighs in at just 30 pounds, she has almost outgrown the harness.

I have the belts pulled out as far as they will go, but if she grows another inch or two, they will no longer be able to be used and I will need to convert this seat to the belt-positioned booster configuration.  It's not that this is a problem, I just thought that Riley would be wearing her harness for a lot longer, since the specs on this car seat stipulate that we shouldn't remove the harness until she reaches 40 pounds.  I guess that's what being in the 95th percentile for height will get you!  :wink:
