Colossal Christmas Countdown: 32 Days Until Christmas!

Texas is known for its cowboys, rodeos, country music, cowboy hats and boots.  We are home to plenty of great little honky-tonks where you can kick up your heels and dance the night away on a sawdust-covered floor.  I've spent most of my adult life doing just that and have to admit that I've worn many pairs of Rockies jeans in my time. Rockies are a western wear staple and always look great with cowboy boots.  Recently, I had the opportunity to review one of their latest and greatest styles of denim, the Prescott Relaxed Stretch 5-pocket jeans.  Keep reading to see what I thought about these jeans!

The Prescott Relaxed Stretch Jeans from Rockies are a classic western style pair of jeans designed to be coupled with a good pair of boots.  These jeans have the same great fit and style of the 14.25 oz. denim Prescott, but now made with a high-quality stretch.  This guarantees that these jeans will give when you need them to and can withstand all of the movement and activity that you can dish out, especially on the dance floor.

It's been my experience that Rockies jeans run a little small in their sizing and so I ordered one size larger than my normal size in other brands of jeans.  I was right in doing this, for these Rockies fit perfect!  I was so happy to find that they offer long lengths too, for there's nothing worse than having jeans that are too short when you're wearing them with boots.  I really liked the dark stonewash finish as well and thought that the coloring made them appear more dressy. 

Now that I'm older, I appreciate the more relaxed fit of the Rockies Prescott Relaxed Stretch Jeans.  Back in college, I epitomized the phrase "wearing painted-on jeans", but have to admit that those days are behind me now.  I'm very glad that Rockies has such a wide selection for top-notch western wear, which even includes more relaxed styles of denim.    

If you are looking for a classic pair of jeans which are of the highest quality and will withstand years of heavy starch as well as look great worn casually too, then I highly recommend the Rockies Prescott Relaxed Stretch Jeans.  Any country gal would be all too happy to find a pair of these lassoed under her Christmas tree this year!
