What I'd really love to find is a great place for a casual wardrobe which is comfortable, looks terrific, and can still keep up with all of my moving and shaking throughout the day. I guess prAna heard my wish, for when they asked me to review two pieces from their Yoga Essentials Collection, I just couldn't refuse! Keep reading to learn more about my experiences with prAna.
I was very excited to receive the Kaley Tunic Top and Lolita Pant from prAna because I absolutely fell in love with the pictures of these clothes on their website. Because they are actually garments from prAna's Yoga Essentials Collection, I knew that they would be extremely flexible and able to keep up with my active lifestyle. When they arrived in the mail, I was happy to find that they looked just as good in person as they did in these pictures.
The Kaley Tunic Top was very interesting with the Black Flower pattern below the solid black banded empire waist, and a black and white animal print on top. This shirt also had a crisscross strap on the back and dual straps around each shoulder. I thought this was a very unique touch to the shirt and added even more interest. I also really appreciated the cut of the shirt.
Since my waistline is my least favorite feature, I appreciated how the Kaley Tunic Top was not especially clingy and rather flowed away from my waistline, without adding bulk or making it look like a maternity shirt. The Kaley Tunic Top is made from recycled Chakara yoga fabric and helps to whisk away moisture, should you start to "glisten".
Most of the time, Texas summers have me glistening like a stuck pig, so I'm always happy to have the clothes I wear breathe well and aid in keeping me cool! The Kaley Tunic Top also has a built-in shelf bra which adds another essential layer of comfort to this shirt.

I really loved the Lolita pant for several reasons. First, this full-length pant was actually LONG enough for me! I'm 5'8" and have fairly long legs and so most of the time, I'm stuck wearing capri pants when it comes to workout wear. Rarely can I find companies who make "Long-Length" pants and the average length pants are just too short. I was amazed and bedazzled when I tried on the Lolita pant and found that they were the perfect length!
If I had to guess, I'd say the inseam is about 33 inches. These pants also come up to right below your belly button, so you don't have to worry about showing the old plumber's crack if you are squatting or bending down. Thank goodness! I'm so tired of the new super low rise pants which show God and country your unmentionables and beyond. I'm happy to say that the Lolita pant fit me like a glove, was super comfortable and even made my waistline appear smaller, thanks to the double-stitched wide waistband!
I highly recommend the clothing that prAna has to offer! If these two garments are any indication of the quality, style and comfortable pieces they sell, then I want to stock my entire closet with these new "mommy uniforms". I know that I'll look great, feel comfortable and have the mobility to do anything I have planned that day, from going to the grocery store, playing in the park, riding bikes, or running errands!
