Colossal Christmas Countdown:45 Days Until Christmas! |
|
I can remember being a little girl back in the 80's and watching the "My Little Pony" cartoon series while meticulously brushing my ponies' hair. There is just something magical about ponies to small girls and I'm happy to know that the "My Little Pony" characters are still alive and well for my own daughter to enjoy. I recently had the opportunity to introduce Riley to Fluttershy, a winged pony with lots of beautiful pink hair. Would my daughter think as much of the My Little Pony toys as I did almost thirty years ago? Keep reading to find out! |
The Fluttershy My Little Pony was exactly as I remembered my own toys. She had a special logo on her rear flank, lots of beautiful hair to comb and braid and even some small accessories included. This particular toy came with a small bunny friend and cart which attaches to the pony's back leg.
As soon as Riley saw Fluttershy, she couldn't wait to begin playing with her. She brushed Fluttershy's hair, made plenty of "neighing" noises, and galloped her all around the house. I was so happy to see that she enjoyed her My Little Pony as much as I used to enjoy my whole corral of them.
Fluttershy has also helped keep Riley entertained anytime we all go out to eat as a family. This My Little Pony is now a permanent fixture in our travel bag because it never fails to capture Riley's attention and helps keep her busy and engaged while waiting for our food to arrive. There is such a wide variety of My Little Pony toys in every price range, which makes these ponies a perfect choice this Christmas for the good little girls on your list!
