A grill master like my husband definitely needs his own set of professional cooking tools so that mine stay in the kitchen and are there when I need them. Thankfully, Oneida allowed my husband to review the Cutting Board with Santoku Knife, which has recently been discounted to a phenomenal price. Keep reading to learn more!
This Cutting Board with Santoku Knife set from Oneida contains everything you'll need for slicing, dicing and preparing your favorite foods. It contains a 12" x 9" bamboo cutting board, which is a perfect size for storing inside my husband's grill when not in use. Because this cutting board is made from bamboo, a natural and renewable resource, it provides an unusually tough cutting surface which doesn't show marks like traditional cutting boards.
Bamboo is also less likely to shrink or swell with frequent washings, unlike cutting boards made from wood. I especially like how beautiful this bamboo cutting board is and know that it would look great being displayed in any kitchen.
This set also includes a 7" Stainless Steel Santoku Knife from the Oneida Performance Collection. My husband loved using this knife, for he said that it glided through both the meats he was preparing for the grill as well as the peppers he used to make shish kebobs. He liked the knife's heft in his hand and claimed that it was a wonderful all-around knife for him to use while grilling.
These items should be hand washed for optimum performance and to maintain the beauty of both pieces.
If you are still searching for a wonderful knife and cutting board set for your outdoor cook or for your own home's kitchen, then I highly recommend the Oneida Cutting Board with Santoku Knife set. You're guaranteed to get the highest quality tools you expect from Oneida at one of the lowest prices possible!
