I never truly understood what people meant when they would make remarks about how fast your children grow up in front of you...until I had Riley.  She does grow so much from week to week and month to month.  I am constantly trying to document her every move and developmental stage through pictures and video, but I also love personalized keepsakes of her as well.

This is why I was so excited to have the chance to review a personalized item from Frecklebox!  They specialize in turning the ordinary into the extraordinary by creating unique personalized options of products such as growth charts, lunchboxes and puzzles.

I absolutely love personalized items!  Having your name printed on an item just seems to make it a little more special.  Frecklebox has such a large selection of growth charts, that it honestly was hard to choose which one to get, but in the end, I chose the Flower Garden pattern.  Riley's room is decorated in blue and green with the rainforest theme to it and this growth chart seemed to fit in perfectly.

I was thrilled when I received my package.  The folks at Frecklebox not only included her personalized growth chart, they also created a personalized journal just for me!  How sweet was that!  I thought Riley's growth chart came out beautifully!  The design was printed on canvas and the colors were very vibrant too!  The growth chart measures up to 60" (5 feet) and has wooden dowels on either end.  It is hung by the matching colored ribbon attached to the top dowel rod.

I inspected it over carefully and didn't find one singular flaw.  In my experience with custom printing, I always seem to notice an errant blob of ink here or there, but not with Frecklebox!  Now it was time to carefully measure where to put it.  If you notice in the top picture, I chose to hang it by a white stick-on hook which will easily remove from walls later so that you don't leave a hole in your wall.

Finally, we measured Riley and believe it or not, our 19-month old is already 33 inches tall!  She's in the 85% for height and we are always getting asked if she is 3 or 4 years old based on her size.  Now, I don't have to worry about remembering this little detail from when she was this age, for it is forever documented on her new personalized growth chart from Frecklebox!  What a lovely keepsake this has made!
