If only there were an easy to follow and handy guide out there geared toward educating parents on how best to encourage your child's budding brain development. Well, there is! braininsights makes an entire series of brain development activity cards which contain 40 different ideas for things you can do with your child based on their specific age.
The More to Do While I'm Two set of cards from braininsights is terrific for several reasons. First, there are 40 different age-appropriate activities to do with your child when you have the chance. The activities suggested here include lots of hugs and kisses too, which little children need throughout their development. Most of these activities don't require any extra supplies either. If they do, the items needed are all common household things such as empty water bottles, boxes, plastic containers, etc.
I love how these cards are also included on a keyring for maximum portability. I can drop these in my purse or attach them to my keyring and use them whenever we are waiting in a line, at a doctor's office, at the grocery store or the bank. It makes me feel good that I am doing activities with my child which are actually enriching her brain development as well as her social, emotional, lingual and physical development too.
I read on one of the cards that 85% of a child's brain development happens from the experiences they have by the age of THREE! Wow! I had no idea and that kind of information makes me want to do something from these activity cards EVERYDAY!

What I also really like about these brain development activity cards is how there are plenty of activities for the child and information for the parents too. Each card has a white side, which lists the activity for the child, and a green side, which shares informative facts with the parent. Every parent wants to everything in their power to raise a happy and healthy child.
I am very grateful that a resource such as this has been made available to me for children at their most formative ages. I definitely will be purchasing more of these activity cards as Riley grows older.
