Baroness Monica von Neumann has created an extraordinary line of candles, inspired by her travels around the globe. Recently, I had the opportunity to review the Modena Orange Blossom and Lemon Leaf variety. Keep reading to learn more!
The Baroness Monica von Neumann Modena candle came packaged in a beautiful creme-colored box, perfect for gift giving. The candle itself was housed inside a frosted glass emblazoned with the von Neumann family crest, a centuries-old symbol of luxury and refinement.
This candle collection is composed of an all-natural soy-based wax with a cotton wick. This wick ensures that the candle will burn cleanly without the creation of damaging soot, which can discolor nearby walls and ceilings. The Baroness Monica von Neumann Modena candle also boasts a 70+ hour burning time, which is much longer than the burning time of comparable size candles.
Dramatic and smart, Modena is a racy scent inspired by l’uomo Italiano. The scent is stylish and masculine, with a crispy citrus top over a spicy middle and an herbal, highlighted by Neroli Bigarade and Italian Lemon. Due to the spicy yet citrus-y nature of the Modena candle, I love burning this one in my kitchen. Immediately, my kitchen is infused with a wonderfully fresh aroma that is both complex, yet familiar. Since the kitchen is pretty much the hub of our home, I can't wait for the Modena scent to become permanently linked in my mind with fond family memories!
