Summer Infant From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I had babies on the brain.  In my mind, I had just nine months to make sure everything was perfect for the new bundle of joy that would soon be arriving.  Knowing absolutely nothing about babies before becoming Riley's mommy meant that I had a big job ahead of me.  I read everything I could find about basic baby care, supplies, breastfeeding, SIDS and the like.

After taking a newborn care class with my husband, I decided right then and there that swaddling my child was the way to go.  Unfortunately, I wasn't very good at doing it with a traditional swaddling blanket, which is why I was thrilled to learn of the SwaddleMe product line from Summer Infant.  These wonderfully designed adjustable infant wraps take all the guesswork out of swaddling your little one.  They also help protect your baby from improper swaddling, which can lead to hip dysplasia.

Of course, Summer Infant didn't just make parents' lives easier with the SwaddleMe blanket.  They even went the extra mile and designed adorable bedding ensembles for your baby's nursery that feature the SwaddleMe infant wrap!  Now that's the kind of one-stop shopping all new parents need.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Team Monkey 8-Piece SwaddleMe Bedding Set from Summer Infant which retails for $189.99.

Schwan's Home Service Happy Independence Day!  If you choose to celebrate this summer holiday like most folks, then you're probably firing up the 'ol grill as we speak.  Cooking our food out on an open flame is one of my favorite summer traditions, but having a successful cookout takes time, preparation and of course, amazing food.

One of my least favorite steps in preparing for a summer grill session is having to battle the numerous folks down at the local grocery store.  Finding a choice piece of meat can sometimes seem impossible, especially near a holiday.  I typically get frustrated at trying to find delicious fare to throw on the pit when everything at the store is so picked through and unappealing.

That's why this 4th of July, I was happy that the folks at Schwan's Home Service came to my family's rescue.  Not only did we receive a wide variety of tantalizing food to serve straight from the grill, they even delivered it right to my door.  Now that's a service that puts the sparkle back in my 4th of July festivities.  Keep reading to learn more!

RKS More than any other season, I believe summer to be the season of fitness.  I mean, the weather is warm, bikinis are in and if you're covered from head to toe in the hopes of camouflaging those extra pounds, everyone will notice.  I've long been a fan of working out at home, for there are some terrific programs out there which really kick butt.

Of course, now that I'm a mom and my free time is virtually nonexistent, I need a program which will deliver big results quickly.  That's why I was drawn to the RKS Workout Series.  This kettlebell-based exercise program claims to come through in a big way if you dedicate 30 minutes per day, 4 days a week.  I decided to throw my hat in the ring and get in shape.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the RKS Workout Series from RKS Inc. which retails for $89.97.

NeovaDuring the summer, less definitely seems to be more...including less clothing and less makeup.  One thing that should never be forgotten during this season though, is a top-quality facial sunscreen, and NO, the tiny amount that is added in your makeup is not enough.

Neova has not only designed their line of sunscreens to protect your delicate skin from the sun's harmful rays, these products will even repair past damage!  Now this fair-skin, freckled girl was just a little too intrigued to let a review opportunity like this pass me by.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the following items from Neova:

DNA Damage Control SILC SHEER 2.0 Photo Finish Tint Sunscreen, which retails for $45, but is currently on sale for $38.99 with FREE SHIPPING

DNA Damage Control EVERYDAY For the Face Sunscreen, which retails for $39, but is currently on sale for $34.40 with FREE SHIPPING

Dibs on My Ribs! Pork Recipe CookoffSince Independence Day falls on a Wednesday this year, my family decided to celebrate a little early.  Of course, a 4th of July celebration just wouldn't be the same without firing up the 'ol grill, which definitely means that pork ribs will be on the menu!

McCormick Spices, Kraft Foods, Tyson Fresh Meats and the National Pork Board have banded together to help celebrate those "rulers of the rib" with the Dibs on My Ribs! Pork Recipe Cookoff Contest.  Keep reading to learn more!

Lean and Healthy to 100Experts believe that over 85% of your (and America's) weight, health and aging issues can easily be eliminated if you simply give your body what it really needs in the first place.  Yet, an estimated 95% of people are still not doing that simply because they've never been taught what to do.

Did that catch your attention?  It definitely did mine, which is why I had to grab a copy of the Gordon Filepas's book "Lean and Healthy to 100".  My husband and I read this book cover to cover and are now beginning the mission to try and incorporate Gordon's simple tips into our own lifestyle.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the book, "Lean and Healthy to 100" by Gordon Filepas which retails for $28.95, but is currently on sale for $26.05 with FREE SHIPPING.
