Summer InfantAs any parent knows, babies grow up so fast!  It seems that in one moment, you're cuddling them in your arms fresh from the hospital, and in the next, they're pulling themselves up on the furniture and crawling fast as lightning across the room.  The early years of a child's life require every parent to be especially vigilant about their baby's safety.

Summer Infant specializes in keeping all babies (and parents) happy and healthy.  They've created an ingenious portable playard called the SecureSurround Playsafe Playard, which can be used long after your child has outgrown it.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the SecureSurround Playsafe Playard from Summer Infant which retails for $89.99, but is currently on sale for $83.99 with FREE SHIPPING.

Office Depot Foundation Every day, millions of kids carry their stuff to school in plastic grocery bags because they can’t afford a backpack.  One innovative way to tackle this problem is to put free backpacks or sackpacks into the hands of children who need them the most.  Suddenly, they’re just like other kids.  Suddenly, they have hope.

During the past 11 years, the Office Depot Foundation has provided more than 2.5 million backpacks to deserving children in local communities across North America and as far away as China through its National Backpack Program.

The Foundation will mark the 12th anniversary of the program this year by giving away approximately 400,000 colorful new sackpacks containing essential school supplies – the most it has ever donated in a single year.  But while these numbers are very large, the sackpacks make an impact on a singular level − one child at a time.  Keep reading to learn more!

Ore-IdaMy family LOVES to grill in the summertime.  We're constantly outside finding new ways to prepare a delicious dinner while doing our best to cook everything directly on the grill...even side dishes.  Baked potatoes from the barbecue pit is a favorite of ours, but we're not huge fans of how long these little gems take to cook.

Isn't there an easier (and faster) way to enjoy mouth-watering grilled potatoes, without the wait?  Thanks to Ore-Ida, there most certainly is.  Keep reading to learn more!

PinkaliciousBeing blessed with a daughter means that I am immersed on a daily basis into the world of princesses, fairies, cupcakes and of course, the color pink.  I believe that that's why Victoria Kann's series of children's books, Pinkalicious, has struck such a resounding chord with my own little princess.

Pinkalicious is a book about dessert, desire and discipline.  Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe — a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast.  But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this pink predicament.

My daughter loves the Pinkalicious character and was absolutely beside herself with glee when she saw the Pinkalicious line of children's furniture.  Keep reading to learn more about the amazingly adorable Kid's Recliner with Cup Holder from Pinkalicious!

I reviewed the Pinkalicious Kid's Recliner with Cup Holder which retails for $179.99, but is currently on sale for $130.00 with FREE SHIPPING.

Dane-ElecThe back-to-school shopping season is almost upon us, which has me reflecting back to the days of my own school supply needs when I was a kid.  Things sure have changed since then.  Big Chief writing tablets have been replaced by handwriting apps and husky pencils by tablet styluses.

Although the requirements for today's student might look a little different, one thing remains the same...flashy and cool always rule!  No one wants the hum-drum basic supplies, when they can have neat colors and characters instead.  That's where Dane-Elec comes in.  Their brand new collection of USB Drives are just perfect for our computer-savvy students.  Keep reading to learn more about the hottest portable storage devices for this back-to-school season.

I reviewed the Peace LifeBytes 8GB USB Drive from Dane-Elec which retails for $13.49.
