I do my best to dress fashionably and follow most of the popular clothing trends, but for me, there's one rule that automatically trumps all others. The clothes you choose to wear will look great if they are flattering to your figure. Fit is the cornerstone of fashion, in my opinion, and the value of a terrific-looking, well-made garment cannot be understated.
That's why I've never truly gotten on board with the low-rise denim trend. Women (and men) have suffered from love handles and lower tummy pooches since the dawn of time and rather than conceal these figure flaws, low-rise jeans accentuate them.

In an effort to slow down the hands of time and keep myself fit, I've taken up running. My favorite place to run is along the many sidewalks and trails surrounding my neighborhood. I have to admit that I don't necessarily enjoy running, but I haven't found anything else quite like it which whips my cardio level and endurance into shape so quickly.
From as far back as I can remember, I've been a list maker...to-do lists, grocery lists, wish lists, shopping lists. You name it and I'll make a list for it. Especially now that I'm getting older and trying to run a household and three businesses, keeping lists is the only way I know to make sure I get done what needs to be accomplished and still stay sane! :pull hair out:
I don't like to admit my vanity, but I have a feeling that I probably spend too much time in front of the mirror. Once I'm done washing my face, applying toner and a myriad of other facial creams and sunscreen, it's time to hit the makeup. After this is done, I still have to style my hair and then decide which accessories I'm going to wear. All of this womanly preparation equals a lot of time spent in the bathroom and a pair of tired, aching feet from standing on our hard tile floor.
My daughter loves building toys of all kinds and comes up with some rather imaginative creations, especially as she continues to grow. Of course, I love encouraging her creativity and problem-solving skills with toys like this, which also help keep her away from the endless distractions that television and computers often bring.
