RadioShack's School of SmartDo you ever feel lost by the never-ending wave of great technology and amazing gadgets?  Although I love technology, I have to admit that at times it seems quite tough to stay on top of everything that's going on.  For instance, just a few years ago, I finally got a smartphone and even though I don't know how to do absolutely everything on it yet, I can't tell you how much easier it has made my life in general.

Well, RadioShack wants to take the time to make your back-to-school season rock by explaining the features of some of the best smartphones on the market today.  Join RadioShack on Thursday, August 8th at 12:30 PM ET for a Google+ Hangout with three influential technology bloggers to discuss the current state of smartphones and the future of mobility.

Sabra Dipping Co.With back to school literally around the corner, you may be wondering what you're going to be serving your hungry crew when they arrive home each day.  In my house, dinner is usually served much later than 4 pm, so it always helps to have healthy snacks available to tide your family over until then.

It's all too convenient to pick up a bag of greasy potato chips or the like, but Sabra Dipping Co. has a much tastier way to ease those after-school munchies.  I recently had the chance to sample three of their delicious flavors of hummus, so keep reading to learn more!

Lay-n-GoOne of the things I hate most when getting ready is trying to dig through my bathroom drawer for all of the cosmetics, brushes and the like that I need to apply my makeup.  Everything is stored loosely inside, instead of available easily at my fingertips.  I know this wastes precious time each day when I get ready, but have I done something about it?  NO!

I just throw everything right back in my drawer and then wish that it were better organized the very next time I get ready.  Thankfully, Lay-n-Go has created an innovative solution which will help keep your cosmetics together in a neat and organized manner as well as get ready quickly and easily while on the go.  Keep reading to learn more about the Lay-n-Go COSMO!

I reviewed the Lay-n-Go COSMO, which retails for $29.95, but is currently on sale for $28.90 with FREE SHIPPING.

Country SaveThe national crime wave that stunned the nation earlier this spring – coast-to-coast thefts of Tide laundry detergent and its use in illicit drug buys – didn’t surprise Kris Anderson.  “Laundry detergent can be expensive and it’s a product just about everyone values – even drug dealers,” says Anderson, president of Country Save Corp. (www.countrysave.com), maker of all-natural laundry and dish detergents.

“But it’s not just stores getting ripped off; it’s consumers. Anyone who buys laundry detergent and doesn’t pay close attention when they scoop it ends up using too much,” Anderson says. “Not only is it a fallacy to believe that more soap will make your clothes cleaner, it’s a huge waste of money and it’s actually bad for your clothes.”  Almost every brand of detergent has a declaration of loads per box on its packaging, he says. And for almost every brand, the number on the box does not match the scooper size provided in the box.

Anderson, whose environmentally safe Country Save laundry detergent is also distributed by the Department of Defense to all soldiers in the field, offers these facts about using your detergent prudently and economically:

HALO InnovationsFrom the moment I found out I was pregnant, I had babies on the brain.  In my mind, I had just nine months to make sure everything was perfect for the new bundle of joy that would soon be arriving.  Knowing absolutely nothing about babies before becoming Riley's mommy meant that I had a big job ahead of me.  I read everything I could find about basic baby care, supplies, breastfeeding, SIDS and the like.

After taking a newborn care class with my husband, I decided right then and there that swaddling my child was the way to go.  Unfortunately, I wasn't very good at doing it with a traditional swaddling blanket, which is why I was thrilled to learn of the HALO SleepSack.  These wonderfully designed adjustable infant wraps take all the guesswork out of swaddling your little one.  They also help protect your baby from improper swaddling, which can lead to hip dysplasia.

Of course, HALO Innovations didn't just make parents' lives easier with the SleepSack.  They even went the extra mile and designed adorable bedding ensembles for your baby's nursery that feature it!  Now that's the kind of one-stop shopping all new parents need.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the HALO SleepSack 5-Piece SafeSleep Bumper-Free Crib Set in Blue Jungle from HALO Innovations which retails for $109.99, but is currently on sale for $79.99 with FREE SHIPPING.
