Out to Eat with KidsMy family is a total bunch of dine-out junkies!  Actually, eating out at our local restaurant is one of those little luxuries we all look forward to.  I love to be able to eat yummy food that I didn't have to go grocery shopping for, didn't have to cook and don't have to clean up after.

For a family of three, it's also fairly cost-effective too.  Michael and I rarely eat out without a coupon and we always either share dishes or take plenty home to eat for lunch or dinner the next day.

Since Riley came along though, we've found it harder and harder to find kid-friendly restaurants that are both healthy and economical. That's why I'm glad to have stumbled upon a great database of family restaurants at Out to Eat with Kids.  Keep reading to learn more!

LAMO Footwear LAMO Footwear is headquartered just outside the city of Los Angeles.  They live in downtown LA and on the beach, and when it comes to the look and feel of their footwear, it's easy to see a strong LA influence. The LAMO LA lifestyle look is relaxed, comfortable - yet with an edge and a definite eye for the trend.

Nothing says "relaxed comfort" like sheepskin boots. And while Australia is the birthplace of the Ugg boot - which, by the way is the name for this type of boot in Oz - California was where they were put on the map. All it took was one enterprising Aussie surfer to stuff his suitcase with several pairs, show up on LA's prime surf spots and get his fledging business bought up by a major footwear player.

The rest, as we know, is history: a look that is fashionably anti-fashion and devotees wearing boots year-round because they are simply the most comfortable thing imaginable.

SuperMEWhen I was a kid, I loved going back to school.  It was an exciting time of meeting new friends and teachers, reuniting with old pals and getting an entirely new stash of school supplies and clothes!

Selecting these new school supplies and clothes wasn't a decision I took lightly either.  I shopped long and hard to try and find the most amazing items with which to start the new school year, because the first few weeks of school was the time to see and be seen.

SuperME has created an outstanding way to set your star student apart from the crowd.  Instead of a boring backpack, their packs have the power to instantly transform into a superhero costume!  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Bubblicious Cape Backpack and the Rocker Patch in Purple from SuperMe, which retails for $45.00 and $5.00, respectively.

PNCOne of the most important lessons a parent can teach their child is that of fiscal responsibility and how best to manage their money.  Even though Riley is still too young to fully understand what money is, Michael and I are already trying to teach her the concepts of saving what you earn and donating to others.

Honestly, saving my money was one of those lessons I didn't exactly learn at an early age and I suffered the consequences of my bad financial decisions for more years than I care to remember.  Before I married Michael, I was wracked with credit card debt and living paycheck to paycheck with absolutely no money in the bank.

Thankfully, my financial story turned out to have a happy ending and I learned my lesson well.  I want to make sure that Riley doesn't make the same mistakes I did and am grateful to learn of companies like PNC that are helping parents teach their children practical money management skills.  Keep reading to learn more!

Post Honey Bunches of Oats CerealYou may not know this about me, but I am a total cereal junkie!  As far back as I can remember, I've enjoyed eating cereals of all kinds, but especially those considered to be more healthy.  Breakfast cereals are a great source of fiber, whole grains and essential vitamins and minerals.  If you choose wisely, you can find a heart healthy variety which also tastes delicious!

I eat at least one bowl of cereal every day and think it makes the perfect late-night fare, early morning breakfast or on-the-go snack.  As much as I love cereal, I've discovered that through the years, I've become quite set in my ways and always seem to reach for the same 4 or 5 options each and every time.  That's why I was quite intrigued when Honey Bunches of Oats wanted me to give their original Honey Roasted flavor a try.  Keep reading to learn more!
