Frecklebox Boy, have things changed since I went to school!  Gone are the days of brown paper sacks and uncomfortable metal-handled lunch boxes.  Today's children get to sport much cooler lunch boxes than I ever thought possible, and now they can even be personalized!

Frecklebox has a wide variety of everything your child needs to kick this school year off right.  Recently, I had the chance to review one of their brand new lunch box additions, the Yubo Personalized Lunch Box for Kids.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Santa Cruz Personalized Yubo Lunch Box for Kids from Frecklebox, which retails for $39.95.

Diggin Active As I'm sure you've heard me say a thousand times, I LOVE toys powered 100% by a child's creativity and imagination.  If the toy is equally well-designed and durable, then a toy company has literally knocked one out of the park, in my opinion.  Diggin Active prides itself on creating innovative toys designed to power the imagination and inspire an active lifestyle.

Recently, I had the chance to review two of their boxsets.  These wooden toy box playsets are perfect for creative play absolutely anywhere.  Keep reading to learn more!

VTech Ever since I became a mom, I've loved providing my daughter with educational toys from VTech.  They always seem to be on the cutting edge of learning, no matter whether at home or on the go.  Since summer is generally a season for travel, you might find it hard to keep your little one entertained while out and about.  That's why I was happy to have the opportunity to review the brand new MobiGo 2 from VTech.

You may already be familiar with the VTech MobiGo, but what makes this edition all the more exciting is the inclusion of motion and sound!  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the MobiGo 2 Touch Learning System from VTech, which retails for $59.99, but is currently on sale for $59.96 with FREE SHIPPING.

Ruth's Chris Steak HouseYou may remember a few weeks ago, I told you about a date night I had coming up that I was truly looking forward to...the Ruth's Chris Steak House 90+ Wine Dinner.  I have been having a rough few weeks as of late and my husband and I were definitely ready to take a break from it all and relax with a night out that promised both great food and great wine.

On Thursday, August 23rd, most of the Ruth's Chris Steak Houses around the country paired with Wine Enthusiast Magazine to bring everyone a phenomenal night of 90+ rated wines.  Now, I'll be the first to admit that I am no wine enthusiast, but I always enjoy a tasty glass of vino.  Keep reading to learn more about our fun-filled night on the town!

BarbieToddlers are such a funny bunch.  They are fiercely independent, though don't have the skill set yet to do much completely on their own.  Of course, if you try to help them they get mad, and if you let them alone, they get frustrated and mad.  It's a no-win situation...or is it?

Helping a toddler gain a sense of independence and accomplishment doesn't have to be an uphill battle, if you know how to manipulate their choices a bit so that they always come out a winner.  For instance, my daughter has recently taken to dressing herself.  She wants to pick out her own clothes and put them on "like a big girl".

I want her to enjoy fashion and choose her own clothes each day, but I also still want her to look adorable.  Thankfully, Barbie has created an entire line of toddler clothing, available at Walmart, that will satisfy both little girls and their parents.  Keep reading to learn more!

The Barbie branded collection is available at Walmart, comes in sizes 2T - 5T and retails for $5.00 to $14.99.

Hey Texas ladies! Don't miss out on your chance to win 4 tickets to the theater production of Girls Only - The Secret Comedy of Women AND a $250 gift card to I W Marks Jewelers! GOOD LUCK!  :luck:

Girls Only - The Secret Comedy of WomenGirls Only - The Secret Comedy of Women is an original comedy that celebrates the honor, truth, humor and silliness of being female.  With a two-woman cast and audiences full of raucous, laughing women, the show has found quick popularity in its analysis of everything girly.

Born out of the earnest and sweetly ridiculous writings the two authors discovered in their girlhood diaries, the Girls Only mix of sketch comedy, improvisation, audience participation and hilarious songs and videos will remind you that underneath, women all have very funny and very charming feminine similarities.
