Shedd's Spread Country CrockSummer is a bountiful season when it comes to vegetables.  Normally, I turn my nose up to most anything green and have always scoffed at the idea of eating my veggies.  Of course, when you become a parent, you quickly realize that the choices you make no longer affect just you.  I now have a "little shadow" following a few paces behind which sees and mimics most of what I do.

Ugh...that means here come the vegetables.

In order to embrace this experience of incorporating more veggies into my own daily diet, I decided to take the family on a field trip of sorts to our local farmer's market.  Now, living in the big city means that we had to drive about 30 minutes outside of town, but boy, was it worth it!

5-Hour ENERGYThe older I get, the more I crave it...ENERGY!  It seems that I need a ton of energy to get through most days and sometimes, I'm just not generating enough of it on my own.  Most of the time, I reach for a cup of joe, but I always cringe when I think of the extra calories and sugar I'm consuming.

Thankfully, 5-Hour ENERGY provides a more healthful energy alternative that is easy on the waistline, yet delivers a power-packed punch.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Original 5-Hour ENERGY Shots Six Pack which retails for $14.99, but is currently on sale for $13.06.

GalleryDirect.comGalleryDirect.com Blog AmbassadorOur home is at a very weird and unique stage at the moment.  Before having Riley almost four years ago, my husband and I were in the process of revamping our house from top to bottom.  Although we were able to get most every room finished, our living room was one of several rooms we waited to complete.

Currently, it serves as our family room and definitely looks the part.  Riley's toys are strewn from one end to the other and our college furniture is still being used here too.    We're waiting to do the official overhaul until Riley gets just a little bit older so that our furnishings aren't inadvertently destroyed.

What makes this room very strange indeed, is that there is a new entertainment system, curtains, decor and wall art here...as long as it's about 4 feet off the ground.  (Riley measures in at 3.5 feet tall...coincidence?)  So because the walls are one of the only places I can decorate in this room, I was happy that Gallery Direct was there with so many amazing options.  Keep reading to learn more about an online retailer who can instantly beautify your home for less!

I reviewed the following framed wall art from Gallery Direct:

Central Park by Michael Joseph (MJ101P) - Size Medium (17" x 24") - Framed Canvas with a 3.5" Natural Very Dark Brown with Pewter Lip Frame (F0106), which retails for $398.00, but is currently on sale for $199.00

John FriedaThe summer is a very tricky season for me and my hair.  No matter how cute my locks look indoors, with the increased heat and humidity, they turn into a pile of frizz within minutes of stepping outside.  Since my hair is fine and board straight on its own, I've learned that it battles the frizzies and flyaways better if I put some curl to it as well as a few pumps of setting spray.

John Frieda is one of the leading manufacturers of anything and everything related to making your hair look fabulous.  Recently, I had the chance to review two new styling tools, perfect for this sultry season.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the following John Frieda styling tools:

Body & Shine Smooth Waves 2" Rollers which retails for $49.99, but is currently on sale for $39.99 with FREE SHIPPING

Sleek Finish Cushion Brush which retails for $12.99
