Organize Your GarageIf I had to name the one area in almost everyone's home that's usually a complete and utter mess, I'd have to go with the garage.  In my neighborhood, most families park their cars outdoors, though absolutely everyone has at least a two-car garage at their disposal.

Unfortunately, we tend to turn our garages into quick and easy dumping grounds that are rarely organized and quite often, even dangerous.  That's why the Saturday immediately following Labor Day has officially been deemed "National Clean Out Your Garage Day".  So why not band together as a family, roll up your sleeves and organize your garage today?

The following 5 tools from The Lehigh Group, Ace Hardware and Quickie will get you started in the right direction!

UbokiaI'm no stranger to Craigslist.  It's a great (and FREE) way to buy and sell items which are frankly just too big to ship or are mostly valuable to folks living in your own area, such as concert tickets.  Unfortunately, the longer I'm on Craigslist, the more I'm concerned about the scams and the crazies which seem to dominate the listings and responses I receive.

Thankfully, there's a great new Craigslist alternative called Ubokia.  What makes Ubokia so unique and different though is that it is buyer driven, instead of seller driven.  I even have a Ubokia marketplace hosted RIGHT HERE on my site that creates a community of buyers and sellers amongst my readers.  Keep reading to learn more!

University GamesThe high-tech world we live in can be extremely exciting and I love having so much knowledge and information literally at my fingertips.  Unfortunately, our newfound level of "connectedness" has actually made us more distant with each other in a lot of ways.

I see this disconnect occurring on a daily basis with friends and family members.  How many times have you been in public and noticed people that are there with each other, but are all glued to their cell phones or portable video games and not even talking to the people they came with?

Snagging some quality family time isn't as hard as you may think.  All that's necessary is to participate in a few fun-filled activities that don't involve batteries, electricity or an internet connection.  University Games provided me with three such options guaranteed to delight kids and families of all ages.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the following from University Games:

BrainBox USA, which retails for $12.99 but is currently on sale for $10.81 with FREE SHIPPING

Poppin Hoppies, which retails for $26.95 with FREE SHIPPING

Color On! Under the Sea Coloring Roll, which retails for $15.99 but is currently on sale for $10.76 with FREE SHIPPING

SoffeWhen I was a young girl, I definitely looked forward to this time of year.  A new school year always brought with it so many different experiences and fun activities to be a part of, like cheerleading, volleyball and basketball.

Unfortunately, all of these activities require active wear that can keep up and that's what can get quite expensive.  Thankfully, Soffe has an entire line of fashionable and hard working active wear for the entire family, including some amazingly stylish girls active wear that's very affordable.

Check out the Deal of the Day for fabulous savings!  Spend $45 or more and get FREE SHIPPING.

K'NEXLooking back on my childhood, I can still fondly remember the days of playing with my Tinkertoys.  They were one of the toys that always seemed to hold my interest and even as an older child, I managed to keep creating new and interesting structures with them.

The really wild thing is that the Tinkertoy set I played with as a youngster actually belonged to my uncle!  He might have been almost 30 years older than I was, but he shared the same love of Tinkertoys that children for almost 100 years have shared.

K'NEX is still keeping the Tinkertoy tradition alive and well and now it's my turn to introduce this timeless toy to my daughter, with the Tinkertoy Vehicles Building Set.

I reviewed the Tinkertoy Vehicles Building Set, which retails for $24.99 at Target.com.

BarillaOnce I became a stay-at-home mom, I just always assumed that life would go by at a much more leisurely pace than it did when I was officially in the work force.  Boy, was I wrong!  Life has never been more hectic, which unfortunately means that most days I end up skipping lunch entirely.

Skipping meals is never good for anyone and I don't want to model this behavior for my daughter either.  Now, thanks to Barilla and their new line of healthy microwave meals, I can successfully make a yummy pasta dish for me in the time it takes to make my daughter's lunch.

Save $1.00 on any variety Barilla Microwaveable Meal with this coupon.
