AvantGardenDecor.comMaintaining a beautiful backyard is so rewarding, for every time you step outdoors, you're greeted with a gorgeous scene of plants and flowers.  During the winter though, when the temperatures drop below freezing and the snow begins to fall, maintaining those outdoor plants becomes a bit more difficult.

The first step in creating a beautiful winterized garden is to obviously plant  flowers and other greenery that works well with your particular climate.  Here in Texas, I am lucky enough to have a winter climate which is still fruitful for a wide variety of flowers and plants.  But I also keep some of my more delicate plants in potted containers atop decorative plant stands so that when the weather turns nasty, I can quickly and easily bring those plants indoors.

I reviewed the following from AvantGardenDecor.com:

CobraCo 21-Inch Scroll Braided Plant Stand which retails for $31.00, but is currently on sale for $24.58.

CobraCo 15-Inch Scroll Braided Plant Stand which retails for $24.00, but is currently on sale for $13.28.

Paper Culture Call me old-fashioned, but there is one Christmas tradition that I will never break, and that is the sending of Christmas cards to all my friends and family every year.  Checking the mail during the month of December is so exciting for you never know whose card will show up in your mailbox!

I have to admit though that on more than one occasion, I've wondered how much environmental damage this Christmas card tradition could be doing.  That's why I'm glad to have discovered Paper Culture.  Now eco-friendly Christmas cards are just a click away!

eBayThe holidays are officially here, which means that you are probably busy finding the perfect gifts for those special people in your life.  I'm happy to say that my holiday shopping is already complete and the last day I plan on hitting the stores this season is on Black Friday.  (I just can't resist those amazing deals!)

So how did I finish so early?  Actually, there are two reasons I can successfully avoid the holiday shopping hustle and bustle each year...

Il Bere Wine CharmsDuring the holidays, we all like to enjoy the company of family and friends and make merry.  For many of us, that includes cracking open a bottle of our favorite vintage to share.  Of course, being able to identify which glass is yours can be difficult when they all look alike and that's why wine charms were invented.

Typically, wine charms were designed to slide around the stem of a wine glass.  But what should you do if you weren't drinking out of a wine glass or other stemmed container?  Il Bere Wine Charms came up with a nifty solution for that...magnetic wine charms which adhere to the glass itself, so that they can be used on almost any drinking glass.

I reviewed the following wine charm sets from Il Bere Wine Charms:

Season's Greetings, which retails for $14.99.

Vintage Mixed 1, which retails for $25.00.

Two HipposWe've all been there at one time or another...scared of the monsters lurking under our beds.  A child's imagination is both wonderful and dangerous all at the same time.  Wonderful in that it can create and entertain, but dangerous in that those vivid conjurings can scare and terrify!

So how can you keep those active minds calm and peaceful when it's time to turn out the light?  Just call the Monster Buddy to the rescue!

I reviewed the Hot Pink Monster Buddy Body Pillow from Two Hippos, which retails for $65.99.

Wink CoutureOne of my favorite clothing fashions is vintage.  In my opinion, vintage clothing always has a more feminine feel to it with tried and true detailing and styling that's been proven to last the test of time.  Unfortunately, as soon as a garment is labeled vintage, the price seems to quadruple because of its new moniker.

That's why I was glad to discover an online boutique specializing in affordable vintage clothing called Wink Couture.  Not only does Wink Couture offer vintage clothing, their fashions are also designed to be figure flattering as well.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Bell Sleeve Blouse from Wink Couture, which retails for $49.99.
