OtterBoxI am such a book fanatic and love reading one any time I get the chance.  Several years ago, it wasn't uncommon to spot me out and about with a huge novel half sticking out of my purse, but since then, I've converted to the eReader way of life via the Amazon Kindle 3.

It's just so much more convenient to have all of your reading material instantly available at your fingertips.  Everything from my favorite newspapers, books, magazines and even blogs are all contained inside the thin frame of my Kindle.  Unfortunately, I haven't taken my Kindle with me as often as I'd liked to simply because I'm scared that I will damage it in some way.

While my thick novel could take a beating, my Kindle most certainly cannot.

That's why I was happy to discover the Kindle 3 Commuter Series Case from OtterBox.  Keep reading to learn more as I took this protective case out for a spin around the block:

I reviewed the Kindle 3 Commuter Series Case in Black from OtterBox which retails for $49.95.

Sofia the First AppDid your little girl watch the wildly popular "Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess" premiere last year?  Riley did and loved every minute of it!  As a matter of fact, we still have it recorded on our DVR so that she can enjoy that episode over and over again.

To coincide with the season premiere of the all new Disney Junior animated series "Sofia the First" on January 11th, Disney Publishing has released the first "Sofia the First" storybook app for iOS devices: Sofia the First: Story Theater. The app follows the show's opening storyline and features the original voice of Sofia, narrated by ABC’s Modern Family star Ariel Winter, and the other characters of the TV show, including Sara Ramirez from Grey's Anatomy as Sofia’s mother.

The Sofia the First: Story Theater App retails for $3.99 on iTunes.

This post brought to you by No nonsense. All opinions are 100% mine.

One thing that's always been true about me is that I'm a perpetual extrovert.  Even as a kid, I reveled in standing out from the crowd.  This lack of shyness has even carried over into my wardrobe because I seem to gravitate to pops of eye-catching colors and patterns.  When I was in school, I took the time to carefully craft my outfits and let my true fashion sense shine through each day, but now that I'm a mom, I admit to finding myself in the proverbial fashion rut.  Well, not this year...

This frumpy mom is starting back down the road to fabulous and to illustrate my particular style, I crafted a collage showing a close version of what I'll be rocking at the bus stop and grocery store this year!  The pops of color in this particular outfit come from a fashionable scarf and colorful No nonsense leggings.  No nonsense has a terrific variety of colors and patterns to choose from to accentuate any style and what's more, their selections are always extremely affordable.  Since No nonsense tights and leggings are available at food & drug stores as well as mass retail stores, it's super convenient to pick up a pair to take your latest mom fashion creation to the next level.

NOVICAThere are two things that I never tire of shopping for and those things are jewelry and home decor.  In both cases, I always tend to gravitate toward the most unique items, for I really want to make a statement with the way my home looks as well as with my own appearance.

NOVICA wants to indulge everyone's quest for the unique and they have combed the world to find skilled artisans specializing in handmade jewelry, hand carved furniture and unique gifts.  Their selection of jewelry and fine furnishings for the home was so immense, that I shopped online for over two hours, but finally chose the following two items to show you!

Kroger Buy 5 Save 5 PromotionThis year, I'm making 2013 all about my family's health and I've decided to lead by example.  Although we could definitely exercise more as a group, I'm mainly focused on making more nutritious choices at the supermarket.  I'm one of the worst when it comes to a healthy diet, for upon closer inspection, my own diet is loaded with unhealthy carbs and tons of refined sugar.

Of course, any time you start talking about an eating overhaul, other members of your family will naturally get a little nervous.  Is it possible to actually eat well using foods that still taste delicious?  Thankfully, my local Kroger grocery store has not only served up some great options for healthy snacks and meals, they've also served up a way to save a pretty penny when purchasing them.

DDP YogaBack in my younger days, I was a huge wrestling fan and cut my teeth on the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and countless other wrestling superstars.  I watched Diamond Dallas Page apply his infamous "diamond cutter" move time and time again on his opponents, and was definitely familiar with "DDP".

What I didn't know though was that after Diamond Dallas Page left the ring, he has been super productive in changing regular folks' lives with a unique fitness program called DDP Yoga.  Being a big DDP and yoga fan already, I had to learn more about this particular exercise regimen.  Diamond Dallas Page never struck me as the yoga type, so I knew he had to have done something radical to the traditional yoga concept.

I reviewed the DDP Yoga Program Combo Pack, which retails for $99.99.
