Origami OwlValentine's Day is a holiday of the heart and giving the gift of jewelry is one of the most popular ways to express how much you care for someone.  I adore receiving jewelry from loved ones in my life because I'm a very sentimental gal.   Each and every time I wear a special piece of jewelry, I fondly remember the person that gave it to me.

That's why I'm such a fan of personalized jewelry.  In my opinion, personalized jewelry is the epitome of a gift that will be cherished and loved forever.  Origami Owl has a brand new line of unique customizable jewelry called TAGGED.  This new line encapsulates the art of expression and can truly represent almost anything in your life.  Keep reading for some amazing Valentine's Day gift ideas with a personal touch!

Origami Owl was founded by a 14-year-old trying to raise money for a new car.  Just 2 years later, thousands of Independent Consultants run their own Origami Owl businesses!

Edible ArrangementsIt's kind of a rather cruel joke...  New Year's Day has come and gone and we are all frantically trying to stick to the resolutions we set for ourselves.  You know the ones:  eating better and exercising more.  Unfortunately, the very first holiday we must face is Valentine's Day, a holiday known for chocolate and candy.  UGH!  :pull hair out:

If you think your Valentine's Day has to be filled with the very sweets you've been busy staying away from, rest assured there's another way.  Edible Arrangements has a delectable way to garnish any occasion with a healthful selection of perfectly ripened fruit. Their Valentine's Day Gift Ideas are the perfect way to express your love and support the healthy decisions your loved one has made too.

I reviewed the Valentine's Day Bouquet™ (Small) from Edible Arrangements, which retails for $69.00.

AgrariaOne of the reasons I love Valentine's Day is because I consider it the "girliest" of all holidays.  There's candy, flowers and hearts everywhere with plenty of love in the air too!  Everything feminine seems to be revered on Valentine's Day, including lingerie, jewelry and amazing fragrances.

Agraria is a company made famous by its unique potpourri and palm leaf packaged products in the 1970's.  Today, Agraria fragrances and body care products can be found at many high-end boutiques and department stores all over the world.  Bitter Orange is the scent that started it all and I had the chance to sample this fragrance for myself.  Keep reading to learn more!

I reviewed the Bitter Orange Gift Suite from Agraria, which retails for $95.00.

Be glad to live in a country like the United States where we can express our opinions and our beliefs freely in public forums.  Just imagine how horrible it would be to be wrongly imprisoned like the following two men:

Nabeel Rajab is currently serving time in prison for posting anti-government comments on Twitter in addition to instigating and participating in peaceful gatherings considered to be illegal by the Bahraini government.  He is a prominent Bahraini human rights activist whose freedom has been compromised.

  • The average Twitter user tweets 4 times a day and has the freedom to say anything.
  • Bahrain is fighting words with weapons by imprisoning citizens for tweeting. You can say No Mas to oppression by signing the petition to free Nabeel Rajab in Bahrain.

Our GenerationValentine's Day is always such a special holiday for children.  On this day, they celebrate the love they have for all of the special friends and family in their lives.  I always like to give my daughter a little gift on Valentine's Day to help her remember just how cherished she is by both her father and me.  I don't have to think too hard about what to give Riley on this heartwarming day either...she's a 4-year-old girl that's enamored with dolls!

They were using the dolls to project their dreams of their own futures as adult women. ~ Ruth Handler

Battat is a high-quality toy designer that my family has been enjoying for years, so when I came to learn of their new Our Generation line of dolls, naturally I was intrigued.  Battat generously allowed me to review Sandie, the Our Generation doll decked out in hearts from head to toe and just perfect for Valentine's Day!

I reviewed the Our Generation Sandie doll from Battat, which retails for $22.99 at Target.
