Brother P-TouchIf you read my previous post about the disorganized state of my pantry, then you know what's coming next...the reveal of the newly organized pantry!  Pictures truly are worth a thousand words and unfortunately, they never lie.  Once I saw for myself just how cluttered my pantry was, I rolled up my sleeves, grabbed the Brother P-Touch Label Machine and got busy!

It took me an entire Saturday and lengthy trips to both Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond, but I'm pleased to say that my mess of a pantry is now one lean, mean organized machine.  Keep reading to see the before and after pics as well as to learn more about what tools I used to tackle the transformation of this high-traffic room:

Ruth's Chris Steak HouseYou may remember a few weeks ago, I told you about a date night I had coming up that I was truly looking forward to...the Ruth's Chris Steak House Taste of Napa Wine Dinner.  I have been having a hectic few weeks as of late and my husband and I were definitely ready to take a break from it all and relax with a night out that promised both great food and great wine.

BeringerOn Thursday, March 14th, most of the Ruth's Chris Steak Houses around the country hosted a phenomenal night of Napa Valley wines at their establishments.  Now, I'll be the first to admit that I don't know that much about the Beringer family or the Napa Valley breed of wines, but I always enjoy a tasty glass of vino and learning more about wine in general.  From the moment I took my first sip, I could tell this would be another amazing night at Ruth's Chris!

Learning ResourcesSpring is here and I couldn't be happier!  Spring is one of my favorite seasons because it is literally bursting with life.  Everywhere you turn, trees are sprouting new leaves, flowers are blooming and the grass is becoming lush and green again.  Baby animals are also being born and the birds are chirping happily in the sky.

This is a great season to get outdoors and encourage your child to explore all of the wonder and magic that Spring has to offer.  Thankfully, Learning Resources has just the solution to help your child learn more about how plants live and grow with the Primary Science Plant & Grow Set.

I reviewed the Primary Science Plant & Grow Set from Learning Resources which retails for $29.99.

Workman PublishingWhoopee cushions, snake in cans, and squirting flowers are as much a part of childhood as grass stains and ice cream sundaes.  Pranks have always had a holiday, but it's about time that the best be collected in an encyclopedia.

Pranklopedia: The Funniest, Grossest, Craziest, Not-Mean Pranks on the Planet! is the brainchild of Julie Winterbottom, former editor in chief of Nickelodeon magazine.  The 72 kid- and adult-tested pranks will have everyone in stitches - the safe, hilarious kind.

I reviewed Pranklopedia: The Funniest, Grossest, Craziest, Not-Mean Pranks on the Planet! by Julie Winterbottom from Workman Publishing, which retails for $11.95, but is currently on sale for $8.60.

Watson'sI guess it's a good thing I live in the deep South where the weather is hot most of the time because I'm one of the coldest-natured folks I know!  If a good breeze blows by on a warm day, I'm chilled to the bone and am off to grab a sweater.

Because of my cold-natured condition, during the winter I wear Long Johns under my clothing more often than I'd like to admit.  They're the perfect layering accessory for a chilly winter day, for hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and a myriad of other outdoor activities.  I never really thought much about the Long Johns I wore before, that is until Watson's introduced me to pure luxury with their Bamboo Long Johns for women!

I reviewed the Ladies' Bamboo Long Johns (Top and Bottoms in Black) from Watson's, which retail for $24.99 each piece.

SakarOne of my absolute favorite pastimes isn't baseball, or even shopping for that matter.  It's KARAOKE!   :can't hear you:  I was first introduced to karaoke back in college and have been hooked ever since.  One of my dreams as a kid was to grow up and be a bona fide rock star like Stevie Nicks or Ann Wilson.  Unfortunately, my vocal chords didn't get the memo...so now, I like to sing along to my favorite tunes for fun.

My husband is just as big of a karaoke fan as I am and even has a business where he runs several local karaoke shows each week around Houston.  So needless to say, when I heard of the new Vivitar iSing Karaoke Sound System from Sakar, I wanted to give it a try right away!
