My bathroom counter is littered with every possible skin care product you can imagine and in the 20+ years that I've spent washing and moisturizing my skin, I think I've literally tried almost every major skin care product on the market. This is why I was thoroughly intrigued to learn of Nerium.

Use of the Nerium oleander plant has been identified in ancient texts and folklore for more than 1,500 years. I so wish I would have remembered to take before pictures of my face almost four weeks ago when I started using Nerium, for I've had terrific results so far. Being 35 years old, fair skinned and with occasional acne flareups, Nerium had a lot to try and correct.
There are fine lines around the corners of my eyes, on my forehead and in between my eyes as well as rather deep laugh lines around my mouth. I also have a patch of skin on my cheek which is acne prone and rampant sun damage all over my face. Pretty picture, huh?
Well, I was psyched by the proclamation that the question was not whether Nerium would work, it was when it would work. Some folks apparently start to see visible results in as little as five days. I didn't have that experience, but I will say that towards the end of my second week of using NeriumAD, I began to believe.
The lines around my mouth are definitely softening and I'm pretty sure that there aren't as many around my eyes and forehead as there once was. This is awesome, but for me, Nerium delivered even better results than I expected. My sun damaged skin has been greatly improved. In just a few weeks, I've begun to see my overall skin color even out. I no longer have those dark blotches of freckles and other hyperpigmentation marks. They are lightening every day...a lot!
I've never seen this type of quick results with any skin care product I've used in the past. I used a hydroquinone based lotion for over six months before and never saw the dramatic lightening effect I've noticed with NeriumAD. What's more, my acne has even improved! At first, I broke out pretty badly after a week or so of using Nerium, but this was to be expected. Any time you change skin care products, your skin will get worse before it begins to get better. Thankfully, I've had that experience before and knew to just ride it out. Now that my skin has cleared, I haven't had one singular flareup since and I couldn't be happier!

Applying NeriumAD is super easy as the video above demonstrates. Just clean your face regularly and then mist your skin with water. NeriumAD works best when your face is slightly damp, so make sure not to forget this step. Then go to bed and when you wake up in the morning, don't clean your face again. Just rinse it with water, apply your normal morning moisturizer and sunscreen and then your makeup, if necessary. Follow these steps and you'll see brighter, more youthful skin before you know it!

Hello, was wondering if you had tried Rodan and Fields- "reverse" or "anti-aging" line and compared it to Nerium?

Does this help or harm people with rosacea? My daughter struggles with rosacea and now the cysts on her nose from it. She normally fears trying anything new. She is 42. Thanks!
Great question Judy! I have mild rosacea myself which is mainly located on my cheeks and have found that it's calmed down dramatically after using NeriumAD. After using Nerium for a month and being a little disappointed by the results, I determined that my day time moisturizer contains acid. So, I am desperate to find a daytime moisturizer that does not contain acids! I have researched moisturizers by Eucerin, Bare Minerals, Olay and Neutrogena. They ALL contain some form of acid.

I'm glad you discovered that your moisturizer contained acid, because that could definitely be killing the active enzymes present in Nerium. Personally, I really like the Repair & Protect moisturizer from Sibu Beauty. It's all natural and in my opinion, it couples well with Nerium. Honestly though, most times I just use Nerium all by itself without following up with a moisturizer. I only throw the moisturizer in on the days when my skin is feeling a little drier than normal. It's just that Nerium seems to do the trick for the most part and every now and again I need to couple a moisturizer in on top of it to give my skin a little extra hydration. is this one of those products that if you see results and quit using you will go back to orginal wrinkles, does that make sense? some products you need to use forever....
Good question, Linda, and honestly, I'm not sure. I haven't stopped using Nerium yet, so I don't know if the results you see end up going away after you quit using it.

I have just started rearching Nerium Ad but haven't used it yet. In one of your responses to a post, you mentioned using Nerium twice a day. Why is that when it's suggested to use it as a night cream? Just curious as to why your using it twice a day instead of once at night as recommended.

Thanks so much for your comment. I misspoke by saying that I used it twice per day. I don't actually apply it twice per day to my skin, but because I wash my face with water only in the morning and don't apply any additional product because I'm letting the Nerium work during the day too, that's why I said I use it twice per day. So sorry for the confusing statement on my part! :)
Thank you for clarifying that for me! I ordered the Nerium Ad last night. I'm excited to see what results I will get from it. Do you, by chance, have any other recommendations for me. It will be hard to NOT apply all the other serums, masques and creams to my skin that is ingrained in my head that I have to but I will surely do what is recommended!

Oh that's great, Diane! I think you'll love it! I definitely recommend taking a good set of up-close before pics and then every two weeks or so, take the after pics. You'll be amazed at the difference. I didn't do that when I first started, but when I got my husband hooked on it, we did take pics for him.
As for tips, I don't really have many since Nerium is so easy to use. The only thing is if you happen to have adult acne like I do and need additional medications, be sure to space them out and apply them more in the daytime than at night, so as not to interfere with any of the good little enzymes Nerium has. At first, I didn't need to use many acne meds when I started Nerium, but as time went by, I found myself needing to reincorporate them because my skin was breaking out again. But now, combining both Nerium and those acne products, everything is looking MUCH better! Good luck!
