Unfortunately, it lacks a bit in style, which is where meSheeky comes in. Their goal was to add a touch of fashion for those of us who live in their yoga clothes. Why look frumpy, when you can rock the activewear you're sporting! I recently had the chance to review the TRIXIE skirt from meSheeky. Keep reading to learn more!
Sarah Tomson Beyer, founder of meSheeky, had an idea: let's build a line of activewear that's instantly, effortlessly stylish. Functions first, then fits, flatters and even fixes a thing or two -- because our bodies are meant for celebrating. And although we are proud of our assets, there’s a time and a place for them (and that place is not necessarily the checkout line at the grocery store).
meSheeky debuted in the fall of 2009, a lifestyle brand combining premium quality, modern fits, fresh styling and a borderline obsessive attention to detail. We offer simple pieces that mix, match + let us be us. You’d expect nothing less from your favorite pants, sweetest skirt and non-stop tops, produced with the ethical standards of a yogi-owned company.
I absolutely fell in love with the fit and flare of the meSheeky TRIXIE skirt. The wide elastic waistband hugs your curves in all the right places and the length is short enough to feel sassy, yet long enough to cover everything it was meant to cover. The TRIXIE skirt coupled with a pair of yoga pants or capris is a wonderful fashion combo. I couldn't believe how much more stylish my "mom ensemble" looked with just the addition of this skirt.
The side splits give this number maximum maneuverability, so you can wear this piece straight to the gym or chase after your little one and never miss a step. I love coupling the TRIXIE skirt with my charcoal capris, white tank top and favorite denim jacket. Thanks to the amazing ruching on the tush of the TRIXIE skirt, your butt will look lifted and perky. Now you'll look great whether coming or going! My mom wardrobe just got a definite upgrade...meSheeky equals meLovey! :big grin:
Disclosure: I received TRIXIE Skirt in Slate from meSheeky in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective. |

I think it is cute! I am not sure if it would be for me though. I would have to see the entire look. I think it does cover the area that sometimes looks bad on women and that is a plus!
