As a mom, I strive to make every birthday for my child extra special and fun, since birthdays are one of the most anticipated days of the year to a kiddo.  Since Riley is about to turn three years old at the end of this month, my husband and I decided to take her out of town on an action-packed adventure to celebrate...a trip to Sea World and to Six Flags Fiesta Texas!

I was also thrilled at the myriad of shirt styles available at The Pipsqueak Boutique for this particular design.  I could have chosen anything from a baby onesie to a ringer or raglan tee to even two organic clothing options, all of which would make perfect first birthday shirts.  In the end, because Riley's birthday is in late October and the weather will be cooler by then (hopefully!), I chose the Raglan Long Sleeve tee.

This personalized birthday shirt was so soft and cuddly that Riley was very comfortable while wearing it the entire day.  The 100% cotton material also breathed really well so that Riley didn't overheat when the weather turned a little warmer than expected.  The design was perfect and looked great on the shirt itself.

It also helped to get Riley noticed while visiting Sea World.  Several of the characters and employees around the theme park wished Riley happy birthday and even gave her a little extra special treatment because she was a birthday girl, which made her day...and mine too!  :big grin:
