I am a huge fan of building toys and discovered the K'NEX brand while I was a Science teacher. Riley absolutely loved the Lincoln Logs Cedar Creek Homestead from K'NEX, for she couldn't get enough of the farmer and dog figurines included. She literally spent over an hour playing "farm" with all of the logs and characters in this set.  I liked how open-ended the pieces were, for with a little imagination, you could build so many neat things.

Of course, I also appreciate how the Lincoln Logs Cedar Creek Homestead pieces blend seamlessly with all other Lincoln Logs sets.  I love toys that challenge Riley at many different developmental stages as well as foster creativity and imagination, and the Lincoln Logs Cedar Creek Homestead set from K'NEX definitely does just that!
