Recently, I began to reflect on my honeymoon, which occurred a little less than five years ago. Both Michael and I had decided that we should take a cruise, because neither of us had ever been on one before. Since we got married in December, it was such a neat change of pace to spend a week during the winter in the balmy lands of Mexico, the Honduras and Belize!

There were so many high points of that trip because it seemed there was never a dull moment in our activities. We took a guided tour through the rainforest in the Honduras and ate some of the best local food ever. I actually won a rock jeopardy contest and made it all the way to the finals on our ship's "American Idol" karaoke contest, where I had to perform in front of everyone on the entire boat! Michael won first place in a bartender's contest by the pool and we even got to appear on our ship's "Newlywed Game".

As if that weren't enough, we also went snorkeling (where I got stung by a jellyfish and Michael had to pee on my leg) and zip-lining through the rainforest too! We had so much fun and continue to talk about the memories we made there to this day, which has got me wondering lately, "Is it too early to take a SECOND honeymoon?" :-)
