Through the course of my life, I've come to learn several things to be true and one of them is, "You get what you pay for". I don't know how many times I've bought the cheapest item made only to be sorely disappointed later.
Just recently, I discovered the major differences in curling irons and flat irons and how the cheaper models are actually destroying your hair! Now, I had the same opportunity to compare blow dryers. I've always used some off-brand, inexpensive blow dryer on my hair and figured that there probably wasn't much difference between the one I was using and the salon variety. I mean, don't they all just blow hot air? Well, I had the chance to review an ionic blow dryer from BARBAR and can honestly say that yes, there definitely IS a difference and you DO get what you pay for!
The Ionic Hair Dryer That Delivers Smooth, Sleek Results
When I first took this styling tool out of the box, I was surprised at how cutting edge this blow dryer looked! It has two switches on the handle with which to control the motor speed as well as the temperature, and it also has a cool shot button, which will deliver a blast of cold air to lock your style into place. These features are the same as any other blow dryer though.
What was different about the BARBAR Italy 3800 ionic blow dryer was that it offered 2000 Watts of power along with an ionic charger and imported AC motor! The result is heated, circulating air that delivers soft and shiny results, all while adding volume. This ionic blow dryer also comes complete with two attachments that will funnel the heated air into a stream for more precision styling. It's also lightweight and small in size, which is great for travel.
My damp hair seemed to dry a lot faster using this blow dryer and it didn't appear as frizzy either! Apparently, my hair dried smoother thanks to the Italy 3800 because it doesn't emit all of the radiation that a typical blow dryer does. Low quality blow dryers actually emit the same amount of radiation as a MICROWAVE OVEN! If a microwave can make an egg explode, common sense would tell me that I shouldn't be blowing that same level of radiation at my own head on a regular basis.
Finally, I like how quiet this blow dryer is, even on its highest speed. My current blow dryer is one step quieter than a jet engine. The Italy 3800 ionic blow dryer also comes with a 10-foot professional cord and can reach heats of up to 310 degrees Fahrenheit, thus truly making it a professional grade tool.
The only thing I would have changed about this model is where the buttons were located on the handle. Unfortunately, holding this model of blow dryer wasn't as comfortable as it could have been because the pointy buttons were always poking you in the palm. It wasn't an experience you had to endure for long though because this ionic blow dryer can dry your hair in half the time.
I have to say that I finally see what all of the fuss is about over the BARBAR Italy 3800 Ionic Blow Dryer. This futuristicly styled tool will save you time getting ready, save the condition of your hair, save your eardrums from the noise, and save your wallet some money because you'll require fewer trips to the salon!
I guess the BARBAR Italy 3800 ionic blow dryer is just one more example of the old adage, "You get what you pay for!" If you're looking for a terrific high-quality styling tool to slip under the tree this holiday season, then be sure to select this ionic blow dryer from BARBAR.
Disclosure: I received the Italy 3800 Ionic Charger Blow Dryer from BARBAR Hair Tools in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective. |
