Halloween is my favorite holiday, mostly because of the super scary vibe in the air which coincides with the first taste of cool weather here in Texas.  I guess you can tell how much I love Halloween because it's only May and I've already got my Halloween costume all picked out and ready to go.

One of my daughter's favorite authors is Dr. Seuss and she's even started watching the Cat in the Hat cartoon show and loves it as well.  So while I still have a lot of control over what costume she wears for Halloween, I thought it would be too funny for my husband and I to dress as Thing 1 and Thing 2, while Riley dresses as the Cat in the Hat!  Thankfully, Anytime Costumes came to my rescue because they carry a super cute and affordable Thing 1 & 2 Adult Costume, which is just perfect for my husband and me!

The Thing 1 & 2 Adult Costume from Anytime Costumes is a red, plush polyester jumpsuit with attached gloves.  It also comes complete with the "Thing" patch that attaches to the front.  What's neat is that this costume allows you to customize it by changing the numbers on the front to either 1, 2, 3 or 4.  The "thing" numbers simply Velcro to the front of the polyester suit and can be switched at any time.

I was a little hesitant about the furry blue wig at first, since it seemed a tad flat when I put it on.  Then I realized that it contains a stuffable inner lining which can be filled with crumpled up newspapers or plastic bags to really give it some height.  Once I did this, I had one big blue head!

The Thing 1 & 2 Adult Costume is fully lined and closes with evenly spaced Velcro squares along the back.  There's also a tie around the neck to give the jumpsuit a more tailored look.  The only downside I can see to the design of this jumpsuit is that going to the bathroom might be a little cumbersome without a partner to help Velcro you back up again.

Other than that, I thought the Thing 1 & 2 Adult Costume from Anytime Costumes was a great bargain and very well made.  I can't wait to have plenty of fun-filled years with my husband going as this dynamic duo on Halloween.
