I love shopping for new clothes for Riley, since buying children's clothing is just so much fun! I don't know why, but the smaller the clothes, the cuter they are. For instance, aren't baby socks and shoes absolutely adorable? I also love children's clothing because all of the colors and patterns are so bright and vivid.
Some days I wish that I could still wear a pair of lime green pants and an orange shirt emblazoned with a huge cartoon lion. I guess somewhere between 4 and 34 years old that fashion statement became frowned upon! :) Well, Zutano is a clothing designer with their finger on the pulse of fun!
They have such a variety of cute clothes for infants, babies and toddlers, that I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review one of the outfits they sent over for Riley. Keep reading to see my little model hamming it up in Zutano!
Zutano sent Riley a cute short-sleeved shirt made with their Flower Power pattern as well as a pair of pastel pink gingham seersucker capri-length pants. The shirt seemed like it might be more of a tunic length, but the size 2T of the Zutano clothes were a little big on her 22-month old body. I was glad that Riley still has some room to grow into this outfit, so that she can wear it for many more months to come.
The Flower Power shirt was very soft and comfortable and didn't cling to her body so that she had plenty of room to jump and play! The gingham pants had two front pockets as well as slits on both legs, so that they could hold up to all of Riley's rambunctious movements. The only thing I didn't like about these pants is that they were awfully scratchy and didn't seem too comfortable.
Riley didn't seem to mind them though, but I'm afraid that once they fit her a little better, they will rub against her skin more and may start to irritate her.
Zutano has a wide variety of beautiful clothing with a myriad of bright and inviting designs. All of their prints and colors coordinate together well so that it is very easy to mix and match several of their pieces together to come up with many unique looks. Zutano is one of my favorite designers of fun, children's fashions!
Disclosure: I received the Flower Power Shirt and Gingham Capri Pant from Zutano in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective. |
