Even though Riley is only a toddler, I can already tell that I've got a little daredevil on my hands! She is constantly on the move and loves to run, jump, climb and play as hard as she can. A child as active as this needs clothing that can try and keep up with her. Zio Sport is a company that makes performance wear designed to handle whatever your child dishes out and do it all with the utmost of style. I had the opportunity to review a complete Zio Sport athletic outfit with Riley. Keep reading to learn more about it! |

So you may be wondering just what makes Zio Sport children's clothing so special? Well, several high-quality features set their garments apart from other children's active wear. For instance, all of Zio Sport's clothing is constructed of Cool-Edge Fabric. This specialized fabric is designed to wick moisture away from your child's skin and bring it to the surface of the clothing, where it can quickly evaporate.
This fabric also contains powerful UV protection too. Next, I noticed some very interesting and kid-friendly design features to the two garments I reviewed. I love it when I see a smartly designed item, and Zio Sport has obviously taken a lot of care and put a lot of thought into the design and function of their clothing line.

Which leads me to show you the Red Half-Zip Unisex Performance Pullover. This pullover is super cute and made from 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex. This ensures that this shirt will be able to move well with your child during any activity. There are no itchy and bothersome tags inside this shirt either.
It is extremely athletic looking and appears to be durable and well-sewn. My favorite feature though had to be the mp3 player/cell phone zippered pocket on the sleeve. I thought that was an extremely neat idea to sew a pocket on the sleeve so that a child will always have their portable electronics with them while they're on the go.

I also loved the design and styling of the Unisex All-Purpose Athletic Pant from Zio Sport. These pants had a drawstring elastic waistband on the inside of them so that they could be adjusted for the perfect fit. They also contained a discreetly zippered back pocket and were constructed with Zio Sport's signature Cool-Edge Fabric. My favorite feature of the athletic pant was the neat drawstring toggles located at the bottom of each leg so that you could easily take these pant legs to a capri length in seconds. How versatile!

Zio Sport carries youth sizes from XS to XL, but unfortunately Riley is still a little too small for Zio Sport right now. I am very happy to have such a stylish and high performance athletic outfit for her though as she gets older. I just know that Riley will love wearing it and I love knowing that she will be dry and cool and protected from harmful UV rays all at the same time.
