With Christmas quickly approaching, you may already be planning exactly what yummy creations you'll be serving to friends and family on the big day.  Salad is a staple dish in our home, but as any salad eater knows, the taste of a salad can be greatly affected by the quality and flavor of the salad dressing you choose to use.

Wish-Bone has been tempting our taste buds with delectable salad dressings for years and now they've recently released three brand new flavors for all of us to try:  Buffalo Ranch, Buffalo Ranch Light and Guacamole Ranch.  I for one, can't imagine a salad without ranch dressing and so was thrilled to have the chance to taste these brand new additions to the Wish-Bone family.  Keep reading to learn more!

Salads are a great way to work veggies into your diet.  The Centers for Disease Control report that only 27% of adults get their recommended daily servings of vegetables, so now's the perfect time to do something good for your family's health and grab some new salad recipes to try!  Wish-Bone makes finding scrumptious salad recipes quick and easy.  You can either search by specific ingredient or try one of the many yummy recipes from chef Tyler Florence himself.  Here's one of my favorites:

Buffalo Ranch Chicken Salad

Serves: 4

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients:

• 8 cups torn romaine lettuce leaves
• 2 medium tomatoes, diced
• 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
• 1 cup thinly sliced celery
• 1 cup chopped cucumber
• 4 cups leftover sliced chicken* (about 1 lb.)
• 4 tsp. cayenne pepper sauce
• 1/2 cup Wish-Bone® Ranch Dressing

Directions:

• Arrange lettuce on serving platter. Sprinkle with tomatoes, carrots, celery and cucumber.
• Toss chicken with cayenne pepper sauce, then arrange on salad.
• Just before serving, drizzle with Wish-Bone® Ranch Dressing.

*Also terrific with leftover turkey!
