Colossal Christmas Countdown: 62 Days Until Christmas!

Jewelry is one of my absolute favorite things to give as gifts as well as buy for myself!  There is no easier way to completely change an outfit, then by changing what jewelry you decide to pair with it.  I also think that jewelry is a very fun and interesting way to express yourself and I'm always on the hunt for something extraordinary to wear. That's why I'm so happy to have discovered the world of WHIMSY!  Keep reading to find out all about this unique collection of jewelry and why it is at the top of my list of gift suggestions this season!

I absolutely love featuring companies here on my blog that produce their goods responsibly and do their part to help the environment.  WHIMSY Worldwide is just such a company because all of their jewelry is comprised of reclaimed 14-karat gold, sterling silver and gemstones, so that there's no need for more mining of these precious resources.

Since the mining industry leaves a huge carbon footprint on our planet, I am very happy that WHIMSY Worldwide has decided to manufacture their jewelry from resources already in use.

I also love how versatile the WHIMSY rings are!  I am a huge fan of Pandora jewelry and have several pieces utilizing Pandora beads.  WHIMSY rings are actually interchangeable with their own line of glass beads as well as Pandora, Trollbeads and Chamilia beads too!

I was elated when I discovered I now have about 15 different looks with my one WHIMSY Sophia ring.  Of course, the other glass and sterling silver beads sold by WHIMSY are so beautiful and eye-catching, that I will have to buy a few of these as well.  Because they are generally sold for around $30 each, I can afford to buy several of them in order to coordinate with any of my outfits. 

Of course, I can't deny how stunning the Sophia ring with the Glimmer Bead in Stiletto is either!  I love how the Sophia ring is accented on the sides with tiny rose buds and how the Glimmer Bead spins on my finger when I move around and is an instant conversation piece.  This ring is classic and timeless, which is important to me, for I want any piece of jewelry I own to look as good on me thirty years from now as it did the day I bought it.

I have no doubt in my mind that the WHIMSY Sophia ring will do just that.  I am also proud to wear the Glimmer Bead in Stiletto in my WHIMSY ring right now, for the color pink reminds me of breast cancer awareness and of my mother-in-law who passed from this illness.
