How can you have soft, delicious butter at the ready without having to worry about thawing or microwaving cold butter from your refrigerator first? Just use the Original Butter Bell Crock from L. Tremain! Recently, I had the opportunity to review the Antique Butter Bell Crock in Sienna. Keep reading to learn much more!
L. Tremain carries a host of unique and beautiful pieces for use in your kitchen and dining room. I was instantly drawn to the antique pottery serving collection seen above, for any table would look gorgeous while these pieces were in use. Of course, what really attracted me was their signature piece, the Original Butter Bell Crock. This crock will forever eliminate the need for thawing butter to room temperature before use, because now you can permanently store your butter on the countertop or table without it spoiling!
The Original Butter Bell Crock is endorsed by top chefs worldwide and is extremely easy to use. Simply pour approximately 1/3 cold water into the base of the Butter Bell Crock. Then pack one stick (1/2 cup) of softened butter into the bell-shaped cup of the lid. Finally, replace the lid into the bottom of the crock.
Now the water will create an airtight seal with the lid of the crock and keep your butter soft, yet fresh. It is recommended that you replace the water in the base of the crock with fresh, cold water every 3 days for maximum freshness.
Packing the butter into the crock can take a little practice though, for it is important that the butter be packed while it is slightly firm. Also, make sure that you don't have any air pockets in the butter once it is packed inside the bell of the crock and check the butter periodically after use to make sure there aren't any new air pockets within the butter.
Air pockets can create a suction effect with the water in the crock, which will suck the butter completely out of the bell. The Butter Bell Crock is completely dishwasher safe, so cleanup couldn't be easier!
If you love the taste of butter and want an easy, yet beautiful way to store it right on your dining table, then I highly recommend the Butter Bell Crock from L. Tremain. With the Butter Bell Crock, rich, creamy butter is always at the ready and at your fingertips!
