Being a first time mommy, I love anything and everything that reminds me of my daughter, Riley, and the wonderful change that has happened in my life since becoming a mom.  I've long been a fan of locket necklaces, but have yet to own one simply because I have never found one that I REALLY liked.

The Blessings Locket is made from two domed sterling silver discs which each have a 1-inch diameter.  A beautiful heart design surrounds the edges of the outer dome's front side with plenty of room for you to engrave something special and meaningful in the blank area in the middle.  Inside the necklace, you can choose any message or collection of names up to 32 characters as well as a birthstone or other charm which hangs in the center.  This locket is then strung on your choice of a 16" or 18" ball chain.

When I received my custom Blessings Locket from Magpie Designz, I was thrilled!  I chose to include the word "beaming" on the front, for this reminds me of so many things:  Riley's beaming face, her beaming energy, my beaming love for her, and how beaming proud I am to be her mother.

On the inside, I couldn't resist including the abalone shell charm as well as Riley's full name with the phrase, "light of my life".  Magpie Designz did a beautiful job in customizing the Blessings Locket for me and I couldn't be happier with the results!
