Learning Resources is a company that has mastered the art form of integrating fun and learning into every product they create. I recently had the chance to review the Word Whiz Electronic Flash Card. Keep reading to find out more!
The Word Whiz Electronic Flash Card from Learning Resources is a small, portable handheld game which will help strengthen your child's word building skills. It is extremely easy to operate and is designed for children ages 5-8 or grades K-3. There are three levels of difficulty so that this game can consistently challenge your child's reading and spelling skills.
The goal of the Word Whiz Electronic Flash Card is to build as many words as you can in just 60 seconds. You have to be quick and think on your feet in order to increase your high score. Every question presents you with just two choices where you will be challenged to create 3-letter, 4-letter or 5-letter words. The Word Whiz provides immediate feedback for right and wrong answers and has a volume control so that it's perfect to use in any location.
Although Riley isn't old enough yet for the Word Whiz, I would definitely encourage her to play an electronic game of this sort while on her way to school, at home or while out and about with the family. I see so many children hooked to portable video games these days, so why not encourage them to play an electronic game which will actually develop their word-building skills instead? :great idea:
If you are searching for a fun and easy way to stimulate your child's reading and writing progress in school this year, then I highly recommend the Word Whiz Electronic Flash Card from Learning Resources. Your child will develop valuable life-long skills, sixty seconds at a time! :time's up:
