First up, I tried the Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo from H-E-B.  This product is designed for all hair types and is formulated with Keralock Technology.  Natural keratin protein in hair depletes over time leaving it unmanageable, frizzy and harder to style.  With the Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo, simply hold the can 8-10 inches away from your hair and spray it directly on oily roots.  Use your fingers to rub in excess powder and brush thoroughly.

This refreshing dry shampoo contains keratin and absorbs oils to help cleanse your hair so it's clean, smooth and manageable between regular washes.  It can even be used on washed hair for an extra kick of volume and texture, as well as to absorb oil throughout the day.

Down here in Texas, where the humidity and excessive heat can cause your scalp's oil glands to go into overdrive, a great dry shampoo is a wonderful tool to have in your hair styling arsenal.  I can guarantee that as the temperatures increase over the next few months, I'll be adding this product to my already washed hair to help keep it looking great throughout the day.

Next, I had the chance to review the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion 30-Day Smoothing Kit from H-E-B.  I was excited to give this at-home keratin treatment a try, but unfortunately, only certain hair types will work well with this product.  You are not advised to use this particular 30-Day Smoothing Kit if you have any of the following:

• Permed or chemically straightened hair
• Bleached, highlighted, double-processed or extreme shades of red-dyed hair (basically anyone who has lightened their hair)
• Hair that has been colored in the past week
• Dry, brittle or damaged hair
• Chemically relaxed hair
