I've been decorating her walls primarily with paint and stencils, but have to admit that this is very time and labor consuming. How could I transform her closet door quickly and easily in just under an hour, with absolutely no paint required? Use Bright Star Kids removable, repositionable wall stickers, of course! I recently had the chance to review the Spring Tree Wall Stickers for Riley's door. Keep reading to learn more and see how it turned out!
Bright Star Kids designs and prints a fantastic range of kids' name labels and wall art. Name labels are great for labeling all of your kid's belongings and perfect to use for daycare and school. Their wall art includes wall stickers, height charts, wall letters and canvas art, all of which are ideal for decorating nurseries and older kids' rooms.
The Spring Tree Wall Stickers kit that I reviewed contained over 130 individually cut wall stickers that easily fit together to create a colorful tree in your child's room. If you spread the leaves around, as shown in the photo, it will reach approximately 51" in height, which is better for smaller sized areas. These fabric wall stickers are virtually indestructible and are specially designed for the rough and tumble activity in any kid's room.
This pack will work on 99% of the most common household walls - even painted brick & cement render. These wall stickers will be easy to remove and reuse, should you move or redecorate. When you want to redecorate, simply peel off and apply to a new area. You can do this lots of times without causing any damage to the wall or the sticker.
I had a unique application in mind for the Spring Tree Wall Stickers kit which would really put the resiliency of this wall art to the test. In Riley's room, I've pretty much painted every inch of wall space with her "ladybug garden" theme and that ended up making her closet door look especially bare. Now I've been using stencils to paint her room, for I'm no artist, and I didn't see how it would be possible to paint some large mural on her closet door, thanks to the molding and all of the nooks and crannies this door possessed.
That's why I knew that the Spring Tree Wall Stickers set from Bright Star Kids would be perfect, for I could just stick these little leaves anywhere and if they happened to fall inside and around some of the impressions and designs of her door, I would just be super careful to thoroughly mash down all of the edges for a good adhesion of the sticker. This kit was extremely easy to use and only required the patience to stick over 130 stickers on Riley's door.
I loved the result and the quality of the fabric stickers as well. The only criticism I have is that the stickers' adhesive wasn't quite as strong as I would have liked. I'm assuming that this is due to their repositionable nature, but I noticed many of the leaves poking up around the edges where they didn't stay stuck. Of course, I have no doubt that if these stickers were used on a flat wall instead of a closet door with nooks and crannies, there would be no issues with adhesion.
If you would like to quickly and easily add some decorative elements to your child's room, then be sure to check out the wonderful selection of wall stickers from Bright Star Kids. Their vivid and unique wall decorations are unlike anything I've seen anywhere else and are super durable and super simple to use!
