I had the chance to review the 5-Day Work Week Meal Plan without Snacks from BistroMD, and as you can see from the picture above, that equated out to a lot of food!  Their nutritionally complete meal plan will feed your body and retrain your system to allow for healthy weight loss. You won't find powered or freeze-dried entrees either, just gourmet, chef-prepared meals that are healthy and perfectly portioned.  All you have to do is heat, eat and lose weight.

Now that I'm in my thirties, I have definitely noticed the slow-down of my metabolism, which means that I have to be even more careful about what I eat.  Gone are the days when I could eat whatever I wanted without any consequences to my waistline.  Thankfully, BistroMD takes all of the guesswork and headache out of dieting, for their panel of experts have done all the meal planning and calorie-counting for you.  :party:

 

Can you imagine life without meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking or cleaning?  With all of that extra time on my hands, I might just split an atom or something!  :rofl:  That's the kind of time that BistroMD can save you though.  All you need to do in order to enjoy a delicious gourmet meal is follow the microwave instructions on the front of each meal.  I didn't find one selection that couldn't be prepared in just 5 minutes, and because they can be eaten directly out of the tray, there's no dirty dishes either.

The 5-Day Work Week Meal Plan supplied me with breakfast, lunch and dinner for 5 days.  The BistroMD dietitians design each day in your meal to fluctuate between 1100-1400 calories per day for the seven day plans with snacks.  About 40-45% of these calories are from protein, 30-35% come from carbohydrates and 20-25% come from fat.  All of this sounded way too easy for me because now I no longer had to try and calculate and plan these things myself.

But to tell you the truth, I was quite skeptical as to how these meals would taste.  I've eaten my fair share of TV dinners and they're definitely no treat for the taste buds.  When I saw these small frozen dishes from BistroMD, I was ready for a meal similar to a typical frozen dinner.

But that's where I was wrong, these dishes really were delicious!  I'm a fairly picky eater and even I enjoyed them.  Believe me, no one was more surprised than me when I began eating the food included with this program and discovered that the food actually tasted like restaurant food.  BistroMD also uses pure ingredients from nature.

They don't allow their kitchens to take the easy way out by adding chemicals, fillers and additives to make foods taste moist and tender, which is so often found in prepared or frozen meals.  From naturally rich salmon with essential Omega-3 fatty acids, to fresh vegetables; they start with good food, and then do good things with it!

Of course, as any mom would do, I made sure to include my family so that they could enjoy all of this delicious food too.  Most all of the gourmet dishes from BistroMD seemed designed for "grown-up" taste buds, but even Riley thoroughly enjoyed the cinnamon sweet potato pancakes with turkey sausage patty and sugar-free maple syrup.  I was pleasantly surprised at how scrumptious everything looked once it was prepared and how fresh-tasting the various ingredients were.  The dishes from BistroMD were definitely NOT TV DINNERS!
