My husband and I have long been connoisseurs of classically funny tee shirts.  I think my love affair began the first time I saw Booger's "Who Farted?" tee on Revenge of the Nerds.  You can imagine then how happy my husband and I were when the whole "graphic tee" phenomena took place about 10-20 years ago.  Everywhere we turned, there was one witty saying after another emblazoned on the front of a tee shirt.

Now, although I still get a kick out of funny tee shirts saying things like, "Come to Philadelphia for the Crack" (with a picture of the liberty bell on the front), I have to admit that the graphic tee is a little played out.  Thankfully, Creative Apparel Concepts has created a new wave in funny tee shirts with their Faux Real line of photorealistic shirts.

I've always been a fan of the "tuxedo" shirt.  It's like a novelty shirt standard.  But, who's actually fooled by this shirt?  No one casually glances at the person wearing this shirt and for a split second actually thinks they're wearing a tuxedo, though the sentiment is funny nonetheless.  What's great about the Faux Real line of funny tee shirts from Creative Apparel Concepts, is that these shirts look so lifelike and real, you might accidentally mistake the person for whatever is on their shirt.

My husband runs a karaoke show two nights per week and is often amid the younger, more tattooed crowd.  He's even joked to me many times about how he'd love to have both of his arms completely tattooed like some rock star.  That's why when I saw the Men's Tattoo shirt from Faux Real, I knew Michael would love it.  This shirt comes complete with two flesh-colored sleeves full of ink as well as a white t-shirt hidden underneath a "leather" vest saying "Live Free, Ride Free".

I was right!  Michael thought the Men's Tattoo shirt was absolutely hilarious and couldn't wait to try it on.  It fit well and most importantly, looked Faux Real!  Even my daughter was shocked when Michael came out wearing the shirt.  The first thing she looked at was his new tattooed arms.  I loved how real even the chest hair accents were.
