A quick recharge of your batteries is definitely in order so that you can get back to being super woman again, but how do you relax best? For me, even when I'm relaxing, I like to receive a quick resurgence of energy so that I can successfully tackle everything that needs to be done once my break is over.
That's right, I'm talking about my best friend coffee! :coffee: It's no wonder "coffee breaks" have been around for so long. They are truly a great way to unwind. But have you ever thought about what coffee you're using during your stint of "me time"?
Keurig makes brewing a single cup of coffee quick, easy and efficient. What's more, you don't have to worry about drinking the same boring cup of coffee again and again until you've finally used up your entire supply of either ground or whole coffee beans. Simply pop in a K-Cup in any variety you wish and enjoy! That's actually my favorite part of owning a Keurig brewing machine...the variety of K-Cups I can choose from is neverending. There are so many delectable drinks to try, I wonder if I'll ever be able to sample them all.
Cafe Escapes is one of Keurig's newest lines of coffee which promises to add extra value to those small "me time" breaks you take. I had the chance to try the Cafe Vanilla and Cafe Caramel and loved the added flavor to my already delicious cup of coffee. The vanilla variety offered sweetness that wasn't overpowering. Although I love vanilla, too much of it can be a bad thing, but the Keurig Cafe Vanilla K-Cup contained just the right amount.
My favorite flavor of the two though was definitely the Cafe Caramel. This drink went down buttery smooth and had a fuller body than the Cafe Vanilla. Of course, the delightful caramel was easy to taste too. One thing to note though about the Cafe Escapes collection is that it seems these drinks are designed to be much lighter than a regular cup of coffee. My husband was surprised by this for I think he was expecting just a "flavored coffee", but this isn't the case.
My guess is that the Cafe Escapes line of coffees is a variant on the traditional cafe latte, which incorporates milk and espresso. To me, these drinks tasted more like a hot chocolate than a traditional coffee and once my husband understood that the Cafe Escapes K-Cups weren't supposed to taste as much like coffee, he appreciated them for what they were and loved both the caramel and vanilla flavors we were sent. The Cafe Escapes collection contains six yummy flavors in all, including Mocha, Chai Latte, Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa, Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa, Caramel and Vanilla.
If you've had a long hard day and need an instant delicious pick-me-up, be sure to reach for your nearest Cafe Escapes K-Cup from Keurig. They contain less than 100 calories and plenty of flavor which will have you relaxed, refreshed and ready to plug back in to tackle the rest of your day!
Disclosure: I received samples of Cafe Escapes and a brewing machine from Keurig to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences and is completely honest and objective. |
