If you're like the millions of folks out there who have already seen The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I, then you may have noticed something a little different in this movie than in the other Twilight films. It seems that being a member of the undead not only comes with immortality and cool eyes, you also get absolutely fabulous skin! :wow:
I can remember watching Breaking Dawn and thinking to myself, "Wow, Bella's skin is flawless. Her pores seem nonexistent and her skin tone is even and unblemished." Aero Minerale Makeup Mist is the science behind the fiction, for they supplied over 1000 cans of makeup to the set of Breaking Dawn. Want to see how mere mortals can attain immortally beautiful skin? Foundation in Bare (1.5 oz.), which retails for $14.99
Primer in Sheer (1.5 oz.), which retails for $14.99
I'm always searching for a way to achieve flawless skin and although I take very good care of it through various treatments and products, these will only get me so far. Finding a quality foundation is the only way I've found to truly appear as if you have perfect skin.
Aero Minerale sent me two very affordable products, their Primer and their Foundation, which are both sprayed directly onto the skin, thus achieving an airbrushed look. I've been a fan of airbrush makeup for years and love the coverage it provides while minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines. If you prefer, you can also apply this makeup using a brush, sponge or your finger too.
The Hydrating Mineral Primer is an essential first step in preparing your face to receive makeup. Using a primer can go a long way to maximizing the potential of your cosmetics and with Aero Minerale's makeup mist application, priming your entire face couldn't be easier.
Simply apply a light mist to your face and in about 2-3 seconds time, your lashes, lids, lips and skin will be prepped! I loved how lightweight this primer was and it definitely helped my makeup glide right on with a much smoother finish.
Last but not least, I tried the Aero Minerale Hydrating Mineral Foundation in Bare. I have very pale skin and usually wind up with foundation that doesn't look very natural because most shades I've found at the store are simply too dark. I'm pleased to report that the Bare foundation shade worked wonderfully on my skin! It had the pink undertones I was looking for, but was definitely a light enough color for my pale skin.
Applying the Aero Minerale foundation was quick and easy...just spray and blend! I pulled my hair back from around my face first using a wide hairband so that the makeup wouldn't accidentally be sprayed into my hair. The foundation smelled nice with just a hint of scent and blended in to my skin perfectly.
It provided great coverage, but felt like I wasn't wearing any makeup at all. Of course, if you're looking for heavier coverage, you can always spray another layer on until you get the look you like.
Ulta, one of my favorite cosmetics stores, has just begun carrying the Aero Minerale makeup line, and with a price as low as $14.99, your face can become as smooth and flawless as a vampire's too!
Disclosure: I received the Primer in Sheer and Foundation in Bare from Aero Minerale in order to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. This product review is based on my own personal experiences with this item and is completely honest and objective. |
