I couldn't get over how quick and easy it was to use the Action Shot Camera.  Simply take it out of its packaging, connect the USB dongle and hook it up to your computer in order to charge the battery.  Next, decide whether you'd like to record VGA or QVGA video or take photographic images with the camera.

I loved the time lapse images option whereby the Action Shot Camera would take up to 1500 images, one every 2 seconds.  The camera's internal memory can store up to 1,500 images like this and I was surprised at just how clear and crisp they were.  Of course, if you're moving too much, the photos can look a little blurry.  Here's a few of the best ones taken while my husband rode his Rockboard Scooter around the neighborhood:

Since this camera films in SD (Standard Definition), the images aren't as crisp as they could be.  If image quality is of the utmost importance to you, then be sure to check out the HD (High Definition) version of the Action Shot Camera.  Also, the Action Shot Camera allows for external memory storage via the microSD card slot, though its internal memory can store approximately 1.5 minutes of video.

I was equally impressed with the video footage taken by the Action Shot Camera.  Now my husband and I are too old for "death-defying" stunts anymore and our daughter is too young yet, but that didn't stop us from taking a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood while videotaping the whole thing!

In the video above, my husband had the Action Shot Camera strapped to his forehead, though with the Deluxe Mounting Kit, you can easily mount this camera to your helmet, bike handlebars or even your skateboard!  My husband kept saying over and over about how cool this would have been to have as a kid and I couldn't have agreed more.  Taking pictures and videos and then uploading them to your computer couldn't be more fast or simple.
