Pelican ProductsBeing out and about on Halloween night is pretty much an annual tradition for most children, and no matter whether they are accompanied by adults or old enough to go out unsupervised, we always want our kids to be safe.

Unfortunately, excited children running walking around at night is a recipe for disaster.  Oftentimes, children don't take the necessary precautions when crossing the street or walking from house to house, and that's why a Pelican flashlight is a perfect Halloween safety device.

I reviewed the 2370 LED Flashlight from Pelican Products, which retails for $59.95.

Hospitality is making your guests feel at home, even if you wish they were.  ~ Author Unknown

What to expect when you’re expecting… houseguests.  The key to making a lasting impression on your guests is to provide all the comforts you would expect to find at home, but with a personal touch. Our GenerationLittle girls and horses seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly.  My daughter loves animals of all kinds, but especially horses.  She also finds endless fascination and excitement when playing with her dolls because the world she plays in then is completely of her own creation.

All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl. ~ Author Unknown

Battat is a high-quality toy designer that my family has been enjoying for years, so when I came to learn of their new Our Generation line of dolls, naturally I was intrigued.

Battat generously allowed me to review an Our Generation horse named Morgan as well as her faithful friend, Lily Anna.  Not only did this 20" posable horse and 18" posable doll look super sweet and inviting for little girls, they came with a ton of appropriate accessories to really kick up the fun.

I reviewed the following two Our Generation dolls from Battat:

Our Generation Horse - Morgan retails for $34.89 at Target

Our Generation Doll - Lily Anna retails for $31.29 at Target

PNC How many times have you told your children that "money doesn't grow on trees?"  Probably, many times more than you'd like to.  Unfortunately, children just don't understand the value of money, because most of the time, they haven't had much experience with it.

The mint makes it first, it is up to you to make it last. ~ Evan Esar

They might earn an allowance and they probably receive money around special occasions like their birthday or Christmas, but because we parents purchase most, if not all, of what a child needs, they just don't understand much about how it works.  Well, we spend years of their lives teaching them history, literature, math and the like, and now it's time to put that same amount of effort into teaching them how to handle their own finances.  After all, this is a lesson if learned well, will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Thankfully, there are companies out there like PNC Bank who are also on a mission to teach children to save.  They've even developed unique teaching tools to help parents teach their children practical money management skills.  Keep reading to learn more!
